Your reading comprehension is lacking. A Lin fan suggested that's what Lin would become. In fact, multiple LOF's have used those two, Kidd, Rondo and Paul as comparisons. Blame that legion of idiots, not myself.
I'm not the one who suggested he would. People like you just keep proving my point. You gloss over the ignorant comparisons to argue with the person who is showing there stupidity.
any Lin thread is a treasure trove of users I need to ignore. Now my stay at this site is much peaceful.
King1 is famous now on this site for being a LOH. Tips to you: Change another name and come back, so nobody will know you.
You are pretty ignorant; all you're doing by keep making a comment like this is making yourself look stupid. Even though he is young and inexperience, he already showed in many games what he is capable of, even though he is only the second/third option. Also, even though he had been shooting badly, his FG% is still 0.435% for the season; which is respectable (I can spell it out in crayon for you to show you that he is more efficient than some so called "great PG". Now, anyone not called Dumb_King1 would know once his shots start falling, he would be very hard to guard; backup PG did you say, more like the coach will ride him 40 mins a game; which is what they're already doing lately, lol.
If Lin wants to become deadly offensive player then he needs to develop his mid-range shots, he needs to start shooting them often - I don't see many misses whenever he took them. He should be doing the pull up jumper more often than the 3's. He should only take the 3's when he is wide open.
Yes u are in it now . And the soil is falling on yer head. First u stated that he will develop to be a bench player in years to come. Meaning that he is a third string player now. Should be in d league. Laughable. Please jeremy lin deserves to be in nba. The chances of him becoming a superstar or star. Who knows. And frankly i don't care as long as he keeps improving . Back to yer jeremy lin is not even backup ready. Lol even steve a smith has backed away from that statement. U taking over him? Anyway please if u are rocket fan , back down on these ridiculous announcements .
I agree with King on this one. Some of you LOFs are ridiculous. Once we point out how ridiculous you all are, we are termed as LOHs... No dude, we are not LOHs, we are realistic and we are LOFOHs if you wanna say any of that. 1st- a guy said, Lin has higher upside than Harden 2nd- a guy said, Lin has put up all star numbers already (WHEN?) 3rd- a guy said, Lin has put up similar numbers to that of Stockton and Nash (WHEN?) 4th- you all like to toss around comparing Lin to great players like CP3, Jason KIDD, Nash, Stockton when at best he is a average to barely above average starter.
Look 2 wrongs don't make a right. I would like to see u defending his jeremy lin statement. Backup in 4 years .
The best Lin can do is playing like an All-Star 1 or 2 years.. but his fans might vote him in more. The worse Lin can do is go back to be a bench player, sixth man or seventh. And Note: I used to think Lin is not that great.. I still think he is not that great. He is a decent player. He has a lot to improve before I eat crow. I like what he is doing for the team so far. I just don't appreciate all this false hype of Lin. That is ridiculous.
Wow, I assumed you are in clinically mental health care making that statement. BTW, How is our friend Royce? #BeWell
There is the number and then there is the "ring" factor. As great as CP3, Nash or Stockton have played or still playing...it's hard to dist Lin just yet. None of the three mentioned, plus Lin, have been part of a championship....we all just need to wait to judge/analyze once that happens. Lin has as much potential as any of the mentioned players....simply becasue basketball is not a one one one sport.
read other ppl's whole posts instead picking up sentences. answer your question directly. (i don't agree with some of LOFs but you went to other end.) 1) lin put up all star #s during linsanity last year. 2) they compared their first couple of years after entering NBA.
The "ring" factor... then Karl Malone is not one of the best PFs in the game... Its not about the ring when you are comparing a players skills and who is a better point guard... if it is then Avery Johnson is a better point guard than Stockton and Nash. Matter of fact, Chalmers is better than Nash because he has a ring. Lol ring factor.
All star numbers are a whole season not just 10 games and then you are done. Josh Smith has put up all star numbers from time to time for like 25 games then plays bad for sometimes and then again... Matter of fact, Oj Mayo has put up all star numbers for a while then went away, Rudy Gay..etc.. its about a whole season or half a season not just some games when you say "putting up all star numbers" Key word for the second one comparing nash and stockton... "PRIME"
You're not understanding: Part 1: You are a superstar based on your numbers. Malone/Stockton no doubt. Part 2: The "ring" factor. As great as you are, the main purpose of any sport is winning the grand prize. Would Michael, Kobe, Bird...be highly regarded as much if they won 0 titles.... Yes. Chalmers may not be the better player, based on stats, but he did play a part in winning a championship for Miama. Was Chalmers a bench warmer and simply got a ring by default...hello no. He made big plays during the games. Also, some of your stats are based on the dynamics of your team. Stockton had Malone to go to every night...Nash had the D system and Amare to start out.
