Now that is a fine machine! Living in the Northeast where winters are brutal I would easily choose this over an m3.

Most people who have these cars don't drive them out during the winter.

I am not. I just suggested that the salesman merely meant in the line of "go **** yourself I am not selling my precious BMW to you at this junk price".

Oh by the way I owned an Audi A6 before and it did not drive that much better than the little Golf.

That's why it's great to live in Southern California. Can drive them year round. :)

If I had an RS5 and the ground just received a fresh 5 inches of snow, I would WANT to go out with my RS5.

Well I would just detail my car. If I could afford an RS5 I could afford cleaning it also. Whats the point of buying a car like that and not pushing it?

More power to you if that's what you like. I can see doing it at least once. But if I wanted to go mudding I'd use a truck. That's just me though.
I don't get excited when we have a tropical storm down here so I can go tearing around in my M5. I do get excited highway flyovers and cloverleafs and nice straightaways on the Beltway.
