UT fans of today may not view it that way, but all the old SWC teams were at one time rivals of UT. UT was the one school that all the other SWC schools viewed as their main rival. A&M, Arkansas, Rice, Baylor, Tech, they all wanted to beat UT more than any other team.

I've said it several times. University of Houston class of 2000. What exactly does this have to do with anything? I'm an Aggie fan. I don't like UT athletics nor their fans - many people don't. Why are you so upset about that? I've got a group of UT graduates in my friends circle and they all tell me I went to "cougar high" however I have a better career and make significantly more money than they do so I'm not sure why or how their education was so much better than mine. Also, you guys have been arrogant & making fun of A&M fans for the past 10 years or so and now it's payback time. You all said A&M would be the doormat of the SEC and now you're mad a me or throwing it back into your face because you couldn't have been more wrong. It's OK.

Did you predict they would do as well as they did last year or even be competitive in the SEC? I would like to see one of your retorts to the widespread belief here (and not just by Aggie haters) that they were not going to be very good in 2012. It's all well and good to throw opinions back into faces when they were wrong if you actively disagreed with the assertion that ended up being incorrect. That said, I have no idea if you can produce evidence that you didn't think A&M would be as bad as many here, and most objective experts, believed. The funniest thing about your "gotcha" schtick is that most Aggie haters/UT fans here have been nothing but respectful of A&M's awesome turnaround season in 2013 and most Aggie fans have graciously accepted that respect. Well, other than you're just an Aggie t-shirt fan yourself.
