When the Rockets go with an offensive scheme that allowed NOH to triple-team the penetrator and still only give up contested 3s, it's pretty damned hard not to play amazing defense.

Nothing was exposed.....Rockets beat themselves by not finishing up a lot of easy plays and dishing out 23 assists to the other team. Also, in the final few minutes there were way too open shots being passed...seems like no one wants to decreaste the FG %. TOs kill you in tight low scoring games like this one....that's how Hornets finished off San Antonio...TOs.

It seems like the Hornets gang rebound as well which makes it hard on Asik to get them. A pf that can rebound well will certainly help I think o_O

I didn't watch the game. How was that an offensive foul at 1:06?

Never did like them. Reminds me of McDonalds too much. I prefer the Christmas Day jerseys more :D

Overall, it was a bad game, not efficient game and it's the reason we lost:
    1. High turnovers
    2. Can't make open shots
    3. Missing easy buckets
    4. Fail to play and decent defense (leaving Mason wide open all the time?)
    5. Refs also blew some calls (unbelievable calls)

All that and we still up by 12pts.....woww, the damm turnovers is what killed us...they need to tone it down.

I can't help but think Lopez reminds me of the Geico caveman.

Positive item tonight: a number of teams vying for seeds 5-8 in Western playoff spots lost tonight: MIN, LAL, DAL, GSW.

Bad loss in weird game to bad team, but road game b2b vs rested home team is always tough.

I normally don't coplain about the refs but they were clearly favoring N.O all night. We could have closed the game during a few plays but between the refs and Jeremy Lin's bad passes, it was too much. Still, a horrible call.

Agree. small lineup with packed paint, this is what we got when 3 pointers no fall. but gambling 3 pointers never give you confident to win consistently. we got to have big to set screen for Lin or harden, move ball and make plays.

Lin did not take care ball very well, but as PG, he did not make much good decision which really make him look bad. but again, no screen was big reason.

    Dumbest statement ever.

On the bright side, we kept a team below 90 points. Yay go Rox!

Hopefully, this Hornets game is a minor speed bump like the Toronto game...another 5 game winning streak?

its almost like the Hornets forced a slowed-temp game and then the battle was between which team could turnover less and suck less in the half-court

I don't know what was worse, the charge Delfino took when both his feet was planted that refs called blocking foul or this one...Probably this one cause we lost a possible 3 points, should have been an and one :/

And the TO on Harden where Gordon pushed him out of bounds with his crotch with two hard bumps while Harden was stationary...It must be the infamous bump and grind move.
