I praised McHale's substitutions just yesterday after the Lakers win, but tonight had me sitting back on my heels wondering what he was thinking. Delfino, who was overdue for a lousy game, can't hit the broad side of the Goodyear Blimp and he keeps him in? And they keep going to him? It was crazy!

speaking of consistency, do we also need the consistent 3s from CD and CP? Well, the whole team is just having an off night, that's it. Next game.

Hey Spiegel, I like your rational comments on the Rockets and Lin. :)

To continue my sunshine and roses theme...

    Jeremy Lin had a 5x5 (lol): 9 pts/ 5 asts/ 5 rbs/ 5 stls/ 5 TOs.
Yes, I know you shouldn't count the TOs, but it's still a 5, even if it's a bad stat.
And those 5 stls were more than the rest of the team combined (4).

So I chalk it up to a bad game, but not a bad effort.

Shouldn't be that difficult to find.

Look for MDP JLin and he has said at least once tonight that JLin should be sent to d-league.

I enjoy watch the trolls making a fool out of themselves.

It is kind of hard though when you're new. It's not that straight forward.

I put a number of people on my ignore list last year. When 2013 began I removed most of them, like a new start for a new year thing. It was delightful to see posters like Gil and Spiegel changed the tone of their posts and writing constructive criticism and not just bashing. But somehow there's a whole bunch of new accounts obviously, transparently set up to troll.

Thank goodness for ignore list

Please stop criticizing Lin. If he sucks, he wouldn't score 38pts against the Spurs and the Lakers. It's narrow-sighted to evaluate him based on one single game. Look at Steve Nash's stats in early years, it wasn't as outstanding as Lin's. A true star needs to be experienced and thus strengthen and improve oneself, this applies to Lin as well.

it was like playing the supersonics. once the pelicans figured the stern minions were not going to call every foul, they kept hacking away in the paint and getting away with it. We should have done the same thing but the masons kept shooting jumpers, and nailing them.

There's a lack of good high picks. The best big Lin's played with in his short career is T. Chandler. He won't get those kind of picks here with Asik. In multiple games, Asik has been called for moving screens. N.O. did great on defense tonight, pushing our players to shoot from outside. Just one of those matchup situations. But, what people will only see is... Lin dribbling around. Not many will pay attention to what's happening away from him. Having said that, he made some bad decisions. But then again, so did many other Rockets players, including our scoring master, Harden, who made some poor decisions too, and his defense is still quite shaky.

    about these 5 TO's:

    3 dumb pass
    - one from penetration
    - one from outside-in
    - one from transition game
(- another one from transition game but the technical crews counted it on Harden)

1 hustle play, great rebounding but Lin was unlucky.

1 dumb call, it should be an and-1

Having good shot blocker and rebounder in the paint is so important. When Asik is not on the floor, we get owned by our opponents.
