Actually, the solution is your ignore list. I learned that in order not to feel like my mind got dragged through mud in the game thread, it's a necessary process. Now, all I see are sunshine and roses posts. LOL.

There's always going to be negative people on this board. But you don't know who they are in real life, and you don't have to care about what they think. So just weed them out and have a good evening talking only with those you enjoy talking to.

 

why wasnt asik out there in the 4th quarter

 

LOHs will always be there and waiting for one bad game to jump out.

This happened in New York last year. For so many Linsanity great games, it only took one Miami Heat Loss to make LOHs jump out and called him Scrub or D-league player.

 

Does anyone know our record against NOH the past 2 or 3 years? I'm fairly certain they've won the majority of the contests.

Everyone played badly (with Harden as exception arguably). Well, according to people's predictions we were suppose to win this but loose to the Lakers. Since we won the Lakers game, I guess we are still on track.

Tbh I'd rather we won the Laker game if it's a choice (I know it's doesn't work this way). As bad as the Lakers are right now, they are still a much larger threat to the playoff spot then the Hornets, so a win against them counts more (well imo, which probably isn't worth much but whatever.)

I guess we get to see how they bounce back the next game. I for one am quite optimistic about this team

LOF vs LOH create a thread to argue against each other or spew your hatred, it's getting old real fast. We should be thankful that we have gained 1000's of new fans due to Lin's arrival, and that he might even make the ALL-STAR team due to his popularity.

All these years we have been begging for some popularity, for people outside of H-Town to take notice, for the media to take an interest in our team - and when they finally do, this is how you haters react?

Wake up & grow up.


BTW: I'm just a little angry about this games result, our defence and the horrible officiating.

 

I agree this is what went bad TODAY. In the past, his small ball 4th quarter was effective...so for me, its about making adjustments and not just stubornly sticking to a game plan regardless of outcome. Small ball works when you are hitting the outside shots. Since they were bricking everything, we had no inside presence to rebound and keep the possessions so small ball was a major fail. In the other games it was the right call. Its just so annoying Mchale wouldn't change the game plan. We still could've come back with like 4 minutes left, I think they were down 5--but stuck to the same failed lineup (for the night)

 

I read it for sure. Probably in the last game thread or the one before that.
But I can't tell you who now because that person is on my ignore list.

Schedule loss. Don't be surprised if the Philly game this Saturday is one as well. Fourth game in five nights with Philly having 2 days of rest.

When you single out one player when most of our players played horribly, then you probably are a hater. My only criticism of Lin is that he shot poorly and was passive when he should have taken the shot, but he did well in other areas. As for the TOs, 2 of them were total BS.
