I think McHale has found his new formula for losing: Small ball.

Small ball == terrible spacing: The Hornets didn't have to guard anybody in the paint. When somebody penetrated, everybody can guard the ball carrier, because nobody near the paint needs to stick to Smith or Asik.

Asik and Smith combined for like 30 minutes.

Yeah, the outside shots weren't falling, NOH had five guys able to rotate/help on the perimeter because small ball == no spacing don't have to guard anybody down low.

And near the end of 4th the rebound stats for the quarter they flashed on screen said it all: NOH: 12 HOU: 3

They don't set picks playing small ball either, for Lin or Harden.

Well, it's like I said, McHale's found his new formula for losing: Small ball, no picks. The question is will it take another 20 games for him to figure out his new pet formula sucks ass?

    Lots of ISO.
    Lots of brick.
    Lots of block.
    Lots of turnovers.

Nobody played well, even the refs are bad.

They seemed to be defending the perimeter very well too.

It's getting really hard to tell who are LOF, LOH, and fake LOF/LOH here just to troll.

    Parsons - 3/8 - 8 points - FAIL
    Morris - 2/6 - 1 rb - FAIL
Harden - 25 points, 7 TOs, several missed layups - FAIL
    Lin - 4/12, 5 TOs -FAIL
    Deflino - 3/10 - FAIL

If Lin is shipped back to the D-Leage, Gordon should be on the same bus as well (2/12, 5 TOs). Damn Lin needs to stop deferring and just chuck it. He should have take that fast break to the basket instead of deferring it to Harden and Harden missing that easy layup.

Tired legs in a b2b with horrible officiating. Well, hope we bounce back in the next game.

stop overreacting b2b, refs werent calling fouls driving in and we weren't hitting 3s and hornets hit everything.

On a positive note, Kobe missed a game tying three. Yet another shovel of dirt on the grave containing his bs "clutch" reputation.

I am not a LOH but I had to post something on here about how bad he was tonight. It was the same thing over and over again with him, drive the lane, see defenders stop, pivot on foot and look for a way out. He must have done that 10 times!!! It was like watching a rerun every other play. He has to learn how to attack the basket better.

Lin played sloppy, but he only had 3 legit TOs, 1 was from a jumpball off an offensive rebound he was scrappy enough to get, and the other 1 was on a true BS offensive foul. He did shoot like S!@# though.

Lin has been fantastic in the last month so he was due for a bad one. This is a young team, as bad is the capitulation was, it happens for a inexpierenced group. The next step is to stem the tide when teams make a run. That will come in time.

It seemed like nobody played well, but somehow Harden always gets his 25 pt :). And he shot 50% today! We're just too used to him carrying the team and breaking out in the 4Q.

    Rockets fans are spoiled.

Where is Asik? Didnot he play well in the third?
Mason lights us up because no one guards him.
Douglas should be on for Lin
