Agreed, but only because Lin will have back problems in a few years with the way he falls.

U are back tracking now. '5 years to become a backup pg' u wrote earlier. hahahaha laughable. Which means jlin should be in d league and maybe in 5 years he can come backup for a contenting team.

Bro yer assessment is soooo way extreme. U must be drunk in haterade

after all, you are quite a reasonable hater. Oh yes, you are a hater bro...quit deny it, I never saw you give him a praise when he deserves it, suddenly you went AWOL, yet you always come to bash him when he suck.

However, you are a reasonable one because I totally agree with you on the reverse trolling part. (that is the balance part I mentioned before.)
Some LOFs are plain ignorant and clueless (**** them too) I mean I love Lin, but saying Lin has more upside than Harden, well that is totally insane. What I want from Harden and Lin is what I see from Jordan and Pippen. You know, both are compliment each other, Jordan is nothing without Pippen and visa versa. Oh and both are HOF too. so it may long way to go but one can dream, right

anyway, we should get exiciting with our potential team. Man, that backcourt is so awesome. hopefully, Morey will keep Rockets 137 forever and they will take NBA by storm.

    best backcourt baby !!! HarLin

I don't have any problem with the vast majority of your post. I never went AWOL when he's played well and I don't hate Lin. You know what I've done and why I've done it. You illustrated it in your post.

I love Lin, but im sure he's going to get a triple double with the TO stat line being one of them before he makes a legit triple double. I hope he proves me wrong.

More consecutive 25 point games than Moses Malone?

Btw, are you guys seriously comparing Harden and Lin here? Anyone contributing to this argument needs serious help

Comparing Harden and Lin is just plain crazy....they play different positions so why even bother. Even the same positions are played differently from team to team, in terms of ball distribution and shots....you have guards like Lin/Nash/Rondo that will only take a few shots and then you have guards like Westbrook/Irving/Felton that will take a bunch of shots. Don't let Lin's low points and assists fool you....as he's not the sole ball handler or jacking up 15-20 shots on a nightly basis.

Lin needs to hire Nash as personal trainer in the offseason. Nash had less 'potential' back when he was with Lin's current experience. But Nash worked on optimizing his moves in every summer. Just look at how close Nash dribbles around his pick man to make himself in a much better attacking position than Lin does, who has a much larger turning radius that costs him valuable split seconds for subsequent moves.

But Lin has Nash/Stockton potential simply by sharing the great level of court vision, and already a better defender than both of them at their prime. What he lags behind on the learning curve in comparison are shooting, dribbling, and passing in paint, which can be gradually improved upon with work and experience.

I don't think anyone would argue about Harden being a better player than Lin right now. I'm not comparing them, just responding to an early post mentioned Harden breaking records at the age of 23 as the reason he's better than Lin, while ignoring that Lin also broke records at the age of 23 when comparing them.

I'm glad Harden is here and that he's breaking Malone's Houston record, but it's not a league-wide record like the ones Lin broke last year. Harden hasn't broken any league-wide records yet like the several that Lin did last year during Linsanity.

Hopefully, after breaking Malone's Houston record of 13 consecutive 25pt games, Harden will feel the competitive fire to break Durant's record of like 27 consecutive 25pt games. That would really show up OKC if Harden manages to break Durant's record. I hope that extra animus helps Harden push the team to more wins. Both Durant and Harden are far from beating Michael Jordan's league-wide record of 40 consecutive 25pt games, though. It would be amazing if Harden manages to do it.

Regardless, as long as the team is winning, it doesn't matter if they're breaking records. I'm sure both Lin and Harden would both rather get the win for the team than break a record while losing. For instance, Nash seemed depressed about getting his Career Assist milestone in a loss to the Rockets, just as Tony Parker mentioned that his 1st career triple double wouldn't have felt good if he had lost that game to the Rockets.

I think the teams and the better players focus on winning, and the record breaking is just a side effect. They'd rather get the win because they're so competitive.

These are the types of comments I'm talking about. Lin doesn't have anywhere near the potential of a Nash or Stockton. You are talking about two HOF players. To say Lin is already a better defender then Stockton in his prime is possibly the dumbest thing I've read on these boards. John Stockton is the NBA all time steals leader. However, I'll be one of the few to point out the absurdity of this comment. Now if I was to bring up how poorly Lin played last night, I'd have 20 LOF fans asking how to put me on ignore.

Good for you, Adamzee. Thanks for bringing this vid up. I just love Magic Johnson. He is my all time most favorite NBA player. Just watching and listening to him make me happy.
