Lin was actually fouled twice that play. Contrary to popular belief, headbutting somebody in the nose is actually a foul. Irving headbutted Lin in the nose then extended his arm while Lin was falling backwards from the headbutt.

Of course, you still have some crazies arguing that the physics of it is such that there was not sufficient force from the headbutt to snap Lin's head back like that and it was Lin who snapped his head back, not the force of the headbutt. Well f***ing duh. Let's give you a surprise headbutt to the nose and see if you don't involuntarily close your eyes and snap your head away from the contact. You can see clearly that's what happened from the basketside camera replay.

 

This team doesn't do well against athletic teams with long arms.

 

Rockets had trouble getting in rhythm against Hornets last week, and only got a big lead in 4 . Asik and Patterson were huge in the win. This time Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis are back.

 

they were tired in that game.

 

Hornets are not as bad as their record indicates...they actually had a pretty tough schedule to plow through. Also, when you lose your top scorer it's hard to make up points. Rockets need to start strong and let the bench finish strong...road trip.

This is NOT the 4th game in 5 nights, quit b****ing at Stern and learn to count. We had a game on Friday and Saturday, rested Sunday and Monday, played yesterday and will be playing tonight. That's 6 nights.

 

Come on, you guys are really stretching now. I'm sure it sucked but it was only a half an hour. Doubt any of them are even thinking about it now.

 

This is the definition of a trap game. Vegas knows all. Rockets gonna lose.

 

Lol wow look at the schedule. We played yesterday(8th) and today(9th) and then we rest tomorrow(10th) and then we play the Celtics on Friday(11th) and the 76ers on Saturday(12th). Way to fail, but good try

 

But since you said it isn't the fourth game out of 5 days, you're correct, it's the second of a 4 out of 5 days though
