Rockets #8 in ESPN power ranking

How is Denver ranked higher than us? They're below us in the standings and we're on a better run.

I don't get that at all.

 

maybe because Denver beat the Rockets in their direct match up

 

And because Denver started off the season playing almost all of their games on the road and came out of it with a winning record?

They've got a huge home-stand coming up and they're almost unbeatable at home, they've got seasoned vets, a good core that's got more experience and a winning record against western conference teams while we're sporting a losing one.

 

#8 is fine, but the Lakers don't deserve anywhere near #14. I put them at #19 or #20

Also they are one of the few teams with a stronger SOS than we have.
