If Hollinger doesnt want him, why do you think Morey would? Master >>> beginner. Morey >>> Hollinger.
Rockets getting Randolph would mean Lin's role would be even less than it is now. Toney Douglas would start for sure. Lin needs a pick and roll big, not a post up big.
The younger, fatter and crazier version of Z-Bo is already available. He plays for Sacramento. The kicker? He's taller and cheaper.
ZBo was crazy in his younger days.... Cousins just wants to win and he is constantly mad at his losing team... can't fault him for that When hee goes at Elliott and other commentators, you have to discipline him
Sadly, you'd also have to hop into your DeLorean and go 8 years into the future for him to not be a locker room cancer and get his stuff together, just as was the case with Randolph.
Love's ok with the fast break because he's a good passer, he can rebound the ball, the rest fo the team will fast break and Love will make the outlet pass and then catch up if the FB doesn't work. Basically if we got him the fast break attack will be boosted up. Aldridge didn't play on a fastbreaking team but he did play a ton of PNRs with Brandon Roy, in fact the two of them combining together resulted in the most efficient offense in the league for a while. If we got him he could play that same game with Harden and Lin and boost up our PNR attack, which is our half court/2nd option when the fastbreak doesn't work. ZBO on the other hand has been playing on the slowest team in the league, and he's a large part of that since he's not athletic or quick. He has good post moves, but at this point we don't need a post guy, we need someone who can be a stretch 4 and provide spacing for Harden and Lin. ZBO will just slow the offense down and he will block the penetration done by Lin and Harden. He's also really old, 30+ I believe. So no, we don't need him even if he came for free.
