Making bad passes is not the same as not being able to take care of the ball.

He's just trying to make home run passes too much, he should grow out of it as he gains more experience.

Don't try to explain it, it's not worth it. Some fans would rather see Lin fail than see him do well, and help the team win.

so true... i was delighted when he started with his isoball in the second half... i was cheerful even when he hit a few 3s because i knew that the rest of the Lakers will just stand around and sync out of the game...

Morey is humbly deflecting attention that would've come his way for GM of year

Also forgot to mention...in Kidd's peak years he averaged close to 4 TOs per game and sits at 3 TO per game career average. Lin is at 3 per game currently. Overblown issue.

Lin right now is all about potential/upside. He is basically a draft pick/project who is already showing good signs. He barely played his first year. Played about 30 games his second year and showed true potential, and now is being inconsistent the way young players are. Once he gets his shot down (he has to if he wants to be around after this contract. I have faith he will), then he will be a PG in this league for a while. He REALLY does have great potential. Patience is key with him.

Webber was trying to compliment the Rockets on how well they hustle, and how that is leading to better results than you would expect from a young team, a team that doesn't know all the veteran tricks and that hasn't played together long. Don't think he meant to be insulting.

Speaking of veteran moves, Harden's "chair pull" was perfectly executed.

Are you serious? Kidd handled the ball way more. Lin plays off the ball and averages almost as many TO's and way less assists. Take off the Lin glasses please.

Kobe's been like that his whole career. He shot 41 times just several games back.

For this game in the 3rd quarter, he actually only shot 4 times. Starting the 4th, they were down double digits, so that's when he started chucking up shots. He shot 8 times in the 4th.

JLin handle is much better this year. A lot of his TO are from charges. But he does try too many hero passes at time.

In this game I think he was trying to get Morris more into the game, which resulted in a couple of bad passes.

relax people, it's one freaking game. He's averaging less TO's than Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving, Brandon Knight, Lillard, Harden (GASP!)

look at the game. Take today's turnovers, that travel at the end which the refs call as often as palming. THe long pass TD in the 1st that he just couldnt handle. THe pass to Morris where he never used his body and just let ROn Artest take it from him. Then you got the one where Delfino just can't handle it and it goes off his hands. THese are not horrendous to's.

I think Linsanity and all the overhyping by fans/media made people forget the dude hasn't even played a full season's worth of games yet in his career.

Rondo/Rose/Westbrook etc all were rough around the edges early on. Most players are unless you're Kyrie Irving or Lebron.

Lin is a Rocket. WTF? Why the hate? He is doing very well for a 'rookie" with a 25 million contract. You should be glad. Why the hate? huh?

Lin had a very good game, apart from the turnovers. Played great defense on Kobe and Nash. Don't understand all the hate.

In college, Lin played off the ball mostly. He was basically their star shooting guard. He's still adjusting. I'm glad McHale is being patient with him, and glad he has the big contract so McHale is forced to be patient. On a bad night, Lin shoots 7/13, 19 pts, 6 Rbds, 5 asts, 4 steals, and a Houston win. This was a BAD game overall for Lin (7 T/O, 50% from FT line), and he still had a great stat line and played hard when it mattered.

Delfino saved the day. It's becoming a habit for this team.

This reminds me of all the Lin hate by the Melo lovers when the Knicks went on that 7 game winning streak. All they b*tched about were Lin's turnovers even though the Knicks were winning games.
