Because he really sucked last year. He was coming off a shoulder surgery. Toney still loves New York and I have a feeling that he'll be back to New York somewhere down the road.
Man as frustrating as the defense was to watch on laker scrubs...how about the cool cat Delfino's D against the chucker Bryant. lol...even Drexler said Delfino doesn't have the quickest feet and then kobe chunks a long three...classic
I really think Kobe is the one killing this team. First half he barely shoots/scores, Nash goes off, World Peace goes off, Lakers take lead into halftime. Second half Kobe goes into chuck mode as many predicted, Nash who was hot the first half stops scoring, ends up with 10 shots for the game, Kobe ends 8-22. Just this game alone how many terrible contested jumpers did Kobe chuck up instead of passing to his teammates? He's basically Harden with the gear permanently stuck in ISO-mode.

Yeah but don't give ourselves too much credit. We lead the league in turnovers. Until then, I'll stand by my post.
Jeremys been turning the ball over a lot the last few weeks. Some of them are balls that arent caught but some of that is your responsibility as the PG to not put players in positions where they cant make the catch. He's getting a little reckless with his passing. He is hands down the best pg at outlet passes, but is hands down the worst pg at making post enty passes. he puts way too much air on them and the defender always gets a hand on the ball--often a steal.
