Signed by Rockets, as in signed by the Vipers to play in D-League, or is he going to be joining the Rockets as part of the 15 man rotation?
Is he being signed to a D-League contract or is it with the Rockets? We'll need a roster spot if the latter. Trade or another waiving on the horizon?
I'm guessing "signed by Rockets" means he takes up a roster spot (which would have to be Aldritch right?).
Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen As @franblinebury mentioned, guard Terrel Harris, waived by Heat, will sign with Rockets-run Vipers. D-League deal, not part of Hou roster.
Yep. Im assuming Cole Aldrich gets the boot here pretty soon then. Its a shame that they aren't going to be able to get even a 2nd rounder the likes of - Scola- 4.9mil Cook- 3.09 *Aldrich- 2.44 Forbes- 1.50 Hayward- 1.17 J. Johnson - 1.12 Brockman- 1.0 Livingston- 1.0 Machado- .473 That's 16.7 in useless salary this season, and 11.8 of which counts against the cap.(assuming Aldrich gets waived) Most of them being halfway decent bench players waived without a single team giving even a 2nd rounder for any of them in trade. I guess the trade market just isn't what it used to be for role players.
AHH-- Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen As @franblinebury mentioned, guard Terrel Harris, waived by Heat, will sign with Rockets-run Vipers. D-League deal, not part of Hou roster Nevermind.... I guess there is still hope that maybe they can get SOMETHING for Aldrich.
