Agreed. Unless the Lakers all of a sudden decide to up there defensive effort tonight. But still then they don't have the personell to do it considering our back court is so quick. And Sacre vs Asik is just a death sentence for Sacre, Asik will eat him alive.

very excited for this game. yes, Dwight and Gasol are out, but it's not like LA doesn't have Steve Nash, Kobe, Jamison, Artest ...

Excited to see whether we use Parsons or Harden on Kobe. Very excited to see what Greg Smith can do down in the low post with LA missing their bigs. Our guards have to attack the basket all night, and Smith and Asik need to get the ball down low a lot tonight.

In their last match up, TD looked fired up playing against the coach who nearly ruined his career and torched D'Antoni for 22 points off the bench.

I'd like to see TD play significant minutes this game.

I expect around 60 points from Harden, Lin, and Douglas tonight.

Nash and Kobe won't be able to run with them all night...

F YEAH! I don't care how bad he has been shooting the past few games. He brings plenty to this team besides shooting,

Wow, 26 pages and the game not even started yet?

Make Kobe works for his shots, guard their shooters (don't over help), rebound the ball, we should have a game like this.

1 qtr: Harden/Lin penetrates, Asik dunks, Rox up by 10
2 qtr: Lin penetrates, Asik/Smith dunks, Rox up by 20
3 qtr: Harden penetrates, Smith dunks, Rox up by 30
4 qtr: Aldrich blocks Sacre shots, Toney "knows how to finish team off" Douglas shooting 3s, Rox WIN a blowout game

Like the Knicks, the Lakers are a team most of us enjoy watching them lose. It's only double sweet when it's us doing the beating....

Aside from that, we're in the unique position of being able to put the final coffin in the Lakers' post-season hopes.

The Lakers are 15-18. You typically need 46 games to get the 8th seed in the West. So, they need to go 31-18 (.632) for the remainder of the season to reach 46 wins.

Their next THREE games are @Houston, @Spurs (back to back), then vs OKC. Even with Pau, Hill and Dwight, Spurs and OKC are high percentage losses, so tonight was a must win for them. They need 2/3 to stay in the play off hunt.

IF they lose tonight, without Pau, Hill and Dwight, you can pretty much write off SAS and OKC as losses, which would put them at 15-21.

31-15 or .673 to close out the season WITHOUT Dwight potentially. And that's assuming this doesn't turn out to be a ridiculous season where you need 48 or 50 wins for a play off spot.

In other words, if they lose to us, the Lakers post-season hopes are pretty much over. Sure, a miracle is possible... but I don't think many people seeing the Lakers playing .673 given how crappy the Lakers have been and how many injuries they now have.

7/10 for the remainder of the season is a STEEP hill to climb.

So, this is why Harden was cranky at the Cheesecake Factory.
