Well I'm a Rockets fan living in LA... I'm hoping more Rockets fans come out for when they're playing in Staples.
we need to win this game for playoff seedings and tiebreaking purposes, also we ought to respect this team despite their chemistry woes and injury issues, Kobe might go God mode on us, kill them early

It was shocking to see the Spurs lose to the woeful Hornets. Duncan shot 5-14, the Spurs had 19 TO's, Parker finished with just 3 assists, and Pop threatened to withhold twitter from Captain Jack for a month for this loss. Anthony Davis had 17 points, 9 boards, and 3 steals, while Eric Gordon scored an impressive 24 points on some subpar 9-22 shooting. Spurs lose a Magic Number. The Thieves went to DC to play the JV team known as the Wizards, who were down 6 players to just make their own lives more difficult. The Wizards suck, but they do seem to have the knack for taking down top teams unexpectedly. Crazily, the Wizards led most of the game. They needed a last minute four point play by Martell Webster only to have Durant and Ibaka tie it up. Bradley Beal got to play hero by dropping a shot at the buzzer to give the Wizards a 101-99 victory over the visiting Thieves. Beal and Webster both finished with 22 for the victors, and Durant had 29 points, 8 assists, and 7 boards, and Ibaka added 26 points and 11 rebuonds in defeat. Thieves lose a Magic Number The Clippers breathe a bit easier tonight. The Blazers needed overtime to take care of of the Magic, who lost their 9th straight 125-119. LaMarcus Aldridge had 27 points and 10 boards, Nicolas Batum put up 16 points and dished 10 assists, and J.J. Hickson racked up 20 points and 15 boards for the hometown Blazers. Arron Affalo scored 24 for the Magic, and Jameer Nelson handed out 11 assists to go with his 21 points on 7-21 shooting. The Mavs continue to reel, losing again 100-94 to the Jazz in Utah. I can't tell if they're going to play pretty bad or if they're going to drop to a top 5 pick status. The Grizz do not fear Cowbells, and they do not fear Suckramento, putting a 113-81 beatdown on the host Kings. Dallas and Suckramento both drop a point. The question is will the Lakers at least temporarily join them, and see how the bottom feeders live. They’ve been lurking at the lower edge of the middle scrum for the last 2-3 playoff spots, but with their front line decimated and a possibly terrible few weeks ahead of them, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the Schadenfrude Express drop to the #12 spot or hover 1.5 or less above it. I'm torn. I want to watch the Rockets roll up points, but just as much want to watch the Lakers continue to implode. Should be a fun night! I expected a big Rockets victory this morning, and now there’s no excuse. Gotta run them off the floor, and Asik and Smith need to dominate inside, corralling boards and going strong to the basket off pick and rolls. Please limit the careless turnovers as that’s about the only way I can see the Lakers winning. Kobe will likely have 40+ shot attempts, but this is going be a beat down for the Lakers. Rockets steam roll 124-93.
Not sure if serious, but I really don't think it's a big deal unless it becomes a habit. I assume this happens all the time among players. I mean, who among us HASN'T called in sick with a hangover? Also...
LOL at the Lakers, I enjoy their misery so much. The way their bigs are dropping, they might have Nash play center at some point tomorrow so I better see Jeremy being aggressive all night long, none of that passiveness. There's no reason why we shouldn't win by at least 50. However with Parsons out, who's gonna guard ChucKobe? I like Delfino's defense but I think Kobe will be too much for him. This is so bad-ass, I hope they keep doing it for every game
This is not good, now it's going to be all Nash and Kobe! Watch out for a 40-50 point game and Nash shooting lights on us as well. We better not get complacent.
maybe they should lower the ticket prices some lol looking lately at prices theyve been kinda high. i dont think they're going to move either since we're winning.
uh i think you got it backwards....nash has never been a good 1:1 defender....being 39 makes his defense even worse. I say this with the utmost respect for Nash, but I think Lin will abuse Nash.
Lin will have a hard time containing him. With Dwight gone I guarantee you they are going to be running and gunning a lot more tommorrow. I don't have a good feeling about this game. Nash is a seasoned vet, their losses aren't on him, if he was allowed to do his thing they would be winning.
