I love this explosion of faux progressivism going on here. Suddenly, everyone thinks seeing a boob in public is an ordinary event and we have absolutely no weird thoughts about it. Guys, if we're going there, we're not there yet. Sorry.

 

can you image if a guy were to walk around in a public setting with his shirt off exposing his nipples? me either. what an outrage.

 

Don't think they are allowed to have their shirt off in the mall. It would be much worse if I had to watch a baby sucking on a dudes nipples.

Not necessarily demonizing it, bc i dont really know where i stand on this topic of public breastfeeding...but why not do it in the restrooms??? There are like baby changing stations in restrooms... no baby is that hungry...or just use a breast pump and put breast milk in a bottle...

Breast-feeding can be done in private. You don't even have to breast feed - have some bottled.

 

My wife and I recently had our first child 3 months ago. I was against breastfeeding at first because I was like some people on here....uneducated. Then I learned, educated myself and I support my wife 100%. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Some of you that are so against it....do you have children? Do you have a family? Imagine being in the mother's shoes...feed in the restroom, seriously? What do you expect mother's to do? Sit in a toilet and feed?

Where do mother dog and cats feed their puppies and kittens along with other animals? They feed from their MOTHER. I am not comparing animals to humans but the way this thread is going why not? God created the breast first and foremost for the mother to feed their child.

Comments like, "If I see a boob, I'm going to stick out my schlong." When was the last time you fed from your penis? Did God create your penis to feed a baby? No. If yes, you would be in prison.

Sorry, this was just a huge ramble. You'll be damned if anyone ever tells my wife or child to "not do this in public" or "eat in the restroom." When you eat your lunch in the restroom, then I'll let my child eat in the restroom.

Don't see an issue as long as it's a little discreet.. not flabby after 10 kids octomom boobs sticking out while I'm trying to eat at the food court.. (I actually haven't been to a mall in about 15 years) no offense to people that can't control their kids and people with octomom boobs.

For the people that approve of breast-feeding in public: how old can the person being fed be?

 

I know and understand about breast feeding being a natural thing, but at the same time there is a time and place for everything. Just because its not agaist the law does mean a person should not use alittle common sence and think before they act.

Now serious question for all you its natural not sexual people out there. If your wife was breat feeding in public and I were to walk up and stare at her how would you react?

My baby is 8 weeks old. My wife wouldn't ever think about feeding in the public like that. We have a cover thing too like most but she's discreet about it. Anyway, the best thing to do is to pump beforehand and have bottles ready. It's rather simple.
