ok, the gameplan is obvious. 1) Force Kobe to take 50 shots, all from 18+ Ft range. Shut down all the other players. Kobe will get his regardless, force him into continuous iso ball. 2) Asik MUST have a big game against a scrub D-League Center. Hope he motivates for a 20-20 game. Feed him the ball (YES, Feed Asik the ball) 3) Parsons (hope he feels better) tends to go off in big games/spotlight games. I feel he'll do well. 20 pts + 4) Lin needs to attack the basket. No Dwight, No Gasol should'nt be a problem. Who's clogging the lanes exactly? 5) Harden. See #4. Obviously, he should have a field day. 6) Run Run Run. The Fakers are old. I don't think he was leashed, considering he averaged almost as many shots as the other Big 3 combined.
Even though they have lots of injuries, lets not underestimate them. the last we need is world peace and jamison to find the fountain of youth and pour 30 pts on us each. Hoping our Rockets stay concentrated and hungry. We need to win more games in our conference.
Mchale would love to see Kobe shooting 40 times in the game. Rockets defense plan is to give mid range jump shots. As long as they are not in the paint or behind the 3 pt line. Most of Kobe shots are all fade away jumpers, since he lacks the speed to drive. We win this game easy just by running and transition. Lakers are one of the worst in transition defense.
yep, its important to note that they still have 2 starting HOFs in Nash and Bryant. Both those guys have carried teams in the past with less talent. now they are together..I mean the Cavs with only one rising star (Irving) kept the game close until 6 min in the 4th quarter...so this is def. not a gimme game. The Lakers might actually be better suited to run with young guys in the lineup (minus Howard/Pau) thus playing better transition D. The injuries are incredibly bad for LA, but it also makes it harder for us to scout them. Whatever happens tomorrow will be a surprise to both sides.
