I didn't watch the game, but the box score +/- was interesting.

    MWP +6
    Nash +6
    DH +5
    Kobe -12

And it wasn't that they the others played short minutes eithers

    MWP 39
    Nash 35
    DH 41
    Kobe 42

Also, saw this on the ESPN comments that made me laugh.

I often lurk in the GARM but there is just so much stuff in there. It moves way too fast and furious for me. Here in the Dish, it's like a smaller family setting with fewer people and less shouting. Besides a few jerks, I like it here.

Ideally (for me), we would have one Rockets thread in the Dish without about 30-40 posts each day so I could keep up. :)

BTW, I watch all the games on Firstrow. Harden has grown up big time. His improvement over last year is stunning, particularly his pull-up & step-back jumpers. I am amazed. Very glad Jeremy Lin has figured out what he does best (attack the rim). Next summer, he has to become proficient at spot-up 3-pointers to take the next step. I was LOLing when the Cavs announcers kept mentioning his low % from long range after each bomb in the 2nd quarter. They couldn't believe it. I'm worried a little about Parsons; he's fallen off a cliff the last few games. Wonder if something off-court is going on. Asik is golden. Forget Marc Gasol (and his contract). Rockets need to get a superstar SF (or maybe PF) with their salary cap room. Bottom line: I expect them to drop off a lot when the schedule balances out and they play more WC teams. Feasting on the East has been good so far, but it won't last.

Thanks. Yeah, Parsons hasn't looked too good offensively the past few games. Hopefully he gets it together. Fortunately, Delfino has really stepped up off the bench. I didn't expect him to be nearly as helpful as he's been. I see your point now about Gasol, considering the big contract he has. Targeting a center who's making max dollars probably isn't the smartest thing, unless its a committed, healthy Dwight Howard.

Speaking of Delfino, I had little respect for him prior to this season. It must have been coincidental he never seemed to play well when I watched him (except on Argentina's national team).

Morey has options. My son thinks something big will happen near the trade deadline. IMO, it will be next summer. Dwight ain't coming here. Rockets need a near-superstar swing player (preferably at SF) to pair with Harden.

I made a thread about how Harden would have this team well over 500. I still stand by my cause.

Kobe scored 29 pts on 26 shots

    That's just black hole status.

    Can't win like that

    A_3PO,

Not sure HOU will fall off that much due to playing more Western teams. Fact is, they play specific teams, not the conference generally-- and they've generally already played much of their tougher WC games.

Did a calculation the other day: the 17 WC teams they played up to December 31, 2012 had a win % of 58.5% (win % weighed by the number if times HOU play each of them), their post Jan 1, 2013 WC opponents' weighed win% is 51.2% in 35 games.

Look at it another way: HOU is 0-5 against OKC and SAS, losses and 6-7 against every other Western team (including two OT losses to Portland). Well, they will only play OKC and SAS one more time each. So to the extent that these two top teams are the two "bad matchup" for HOU, they ought to be able to handle their remaining WC schedule significanfly better than they have dealt with their existing schedule.

As for FA targets, why not Lebron James in 2014? Does he really want to drag an aging Wade and a flawed roster (lack size) around for his remaing career?

hell yeah! this is the first time that i didn't get that nauseating feeling when proposal is made to add a star to our roster ....i think we will won championship with this roster and without any star added to it in years to come, when this roster mature(if not this year already), but addition of lebron would be really nice...

LeBron will see Harden as his next Wade and Asik as his next Bosh. Boom!

I thought this is a Lakers fans thread. wow, it's a anti-Lakers thread for haters to express the hate.

The Lakers might lose 6 in a row, obviously, it's no surprising at all.

they need a hard coach like Slogon that can get their 4 stars to play and cooperate with each other, and with a good defense system in mind.

Mike D'Antoni is ****, from the first day he was hired, people knew it already.
