Looked at differently, he had 7 points in the final 4:40 on 3-for-3. :)

    Personality chemistry counts.

If other players and coaches don't like Lowry he will be gone like he was in houston.

He is not an all star or marketing asset like lin so he has limited power.

It counts, but production is what matters. Lin better up his game If he wants to be as good as Kyle Lowry.

No, Lin should not be a backup to TD. Puleeze~
But it could've happened to Lin as well in Lowry's shoes. Calderon has looked good. So has the Raptors. It looks like our loss wasn't a fluke.

Most people cannot be a dick and still be have a job in the NBA. Lowry is not the type that could be a dick and still have a job in the NBA. Your talent will dictate how long they'll put up with you, but they can still get you out of there. Kobe, LBJ, Dwade, KD can certainly afford to be drama queens for a long period of time before someone decides to get rid of them. But most people cannot. DHoward and Dwilliams have expended their drama queen credits. Kyle Lowry is NOT that type of player. If he's unworkable, he will be benched, like Toronto is doing, and people WILL not remember him except for maybe for some Houston fans who fell in love with him. Lowry needs to shut up or he'll be a forgotten player in this league. How many non-Rockets fans remember Kelvin Cato?

Yea, I said non-Rockets fan because obviously Rockets fans remember him! But, there are tons of players on other teams that no one remembers because they're average at best. Kyle Lowry could EASILY be forgotten in this league in years to come. He needs to shut up and get his act together or he will slowly fade away from this league.

Whats the odds of Toronto resigning Lowry if they continue to bench him for Calderon?

Looks like another BC scewup to me. Overpay Bargnani, Calderon, Fields, Derozen, give up a lottery pick for Lowry who is getting more disgruntled by the day. Nice one BC.

So long BC and thanks for the Harden!

On the basketball court Lin isn't as good as Lowy, but he's certainly been much, much more valuable. Lowry raised a huge stink last season because he refused to play off the bench, and had issues with McHale. Not even six months later he's playing behind Calderon, his teammates dislike him and management have been looking to move him. Quite a big diva who would be problematic on a young rebuilding franchise no? Could have easily become a toxic environment like Portland last season, the Wizards or Kings. Instead 20-14. But "oh my god check out Lowry's PER!"

I'm not sure its fair comparing those others to Bargnani, playing someone "not named Bargnani" has made them a better team, the level of bad required there is fairly unique, usually only matched by things like Knicks and Magic contracts.

Lowry and Dragic are still better players than Lin, but they both have about 2.5 years and 300 games on him, it wouldn't surprise me if Lin can round out some of his weaknesses and be a better player by the time he's 26

If I was a coach that could handle Lowry's attitude & was in win now mode I would take Lowry over all three of them. But if I had to pick between Lin & Dragic I would take Lin. Better passer, runs a team better, better defender, significantly younger & not as experienced. Dragic is a better shooter though.

One good off season and JLin can turn that jump shooting around. But it would be nice if he can during this season...
