But Raptors have an undeniably easier schedule right now. They had a tough stretch in the beginning with plenty of road games. And imo the absence of Bargnani made a bigger difference than Calderon starting. Not to mention their win streak consisted of victories over mediocre teams (I think we had the best record out of all of them). Spurs snapped the Raptors win streak easily. I think it's too early for Raptors to deem Calderon as better than Lowry right now. And if Kyle continues to be benched, I can see him leaving at the end of the season. Then Toronto's going to be stuck with Calderon with their pick given to OKC.
These are the type of posts that give Lin Only Fans a bad name. Notice the registration date, and the **** smearing.
I haven't noticed this poster before, but to be fair, a lot of trolls and haters also have similar registration dates and pretend to be fans by posting outrageous comments, but in reality are just trying to start trouble.
That is a really unfair comparison. Are you saying that the only change made to the Suns was Nash for Dragic? Dragic might not be a star or carry the Suns to significant wins yet but overall, they are a really bad team now. The team needs more talent. Are you telling me that if you put Lin in the same situation as Dragic and he's going blow it up and the team's going to be .500? Maybe, but no, we don't know that. For Lowry, he was injured, Calderon was playing well and Raptors are winning, so why mess with the team's chemistry? Yes, Lowry tends to ballhog at times but that's not why they lost games and Calderon is not the better player here. More experienced, yes. Better, no way. There are many reasons that contribute to the way things are now for both the Suns and Raptors. Pointing fingers at either only Dragic or Lowry just revealed your bias.
Its only been 30 games and as far as I know for at least 10+ games Lin has performed better. Yes so its reasonable to say Dragic has been marginally better. As for Lowry, i have no idea where you get your stats from. Lowry has never reached 20 per until this season, that was mainly due to earlier on he was shooting 57% from threes. The last 2 seasons he was 18.9 and 16.5.
The real question is ... I thought JCDenton vowed he would not return to Clutchfans. Or am I mistaken?
Many TOR fans had already turned on Lowry during the winning streak, but as soon as Lowry came back healthy for two games the TOR fans had been calling for Casey's head for playing Calderon too much. There is just no denying how much better Lowry is than Calderon unless you are legally blind like Casey. All the Calderon > Lowry TOR fans are being laughed at right now for being kneejerk bandwagoners. Oh the irony. But yeah, TOR's improved performance lately was mostly due to Ed Davis >>>>>>>> Bargnani and their easier schedule. Of course, that's still with Casey playing Linus "Airballs for Jesus" Kleiza over Ed Davis during key stretches of the game.
Dragic is a liability on the defensive end. Lowry would treat Harden like a rookie. And they both can't pass the ball like Lin. Just saying...
Lin is a better fit for this team. Lowry is not the hustle player he once was. Takes too many jumpers and lacks the playmaking Jeremy has. No doubt in my mind, in three years Jeremy will be a better point than Lowry is/ever will be. This team is James Hardens. Everyone understands that, and Lin has took a back seat happily.
All things being equal, do you think Harden would have signed the extension if Lowry/Dragic was Houston's PG? Or do you think he would have waited?
I watched 45+ games per year in the last three season so you better ST. You have your right to believe what you see but you don't have to label someone as a LOF who see the different world.
