god I hope so. So many heads would explode in the media and on this forum if Schaub could come out and throw for 350, 3 TDs, and pick up a win in the process

And if the Texans need bulletin board material from an East Coast pr.ck(hate Bostonians in general)...then they havent learned anything...The Texans were embrassed on national TV...and that loss opened up a downward spiral of our offense ever since...Our defense wasnt the reason we were embarrassed...it was our offense not even showing up...until the game was out of reach...

Texans dont need anything else to fire them up...they better already be...

If the Texans win in foxboro..I can guarantee that we will win it all...

imagine our texans beating 1. brady, 2. manning and 3. Rodgers for the title???? That would be one of the greatest stories ever...Nice to hope...but its really all up to the guys that take the field...

He's doing it so he can eviscerate the Pats if they lose. That's all this is. It has nothing to do with the Texans and everything to do with setting up an epically nasty Monday morning column. Oldest trick in the hack book.

Hopefully, we'll get to read it.

No player should ever under any circumstances deliberately try to hurt another team's player, but win or lose, the Texans must make Brady "feel" this game.

They were still 11-1 any way you slice it. It's not their fault if the fans are are bipolar and ambivalent.

I don't think they'll beat the Patriots, (I would sure enjoy it..), but they're not a bye week either.

It's not deliberately hurting; it's deliberately smashing him as hard as possible within legality.

    Zzz. No big deal.

The players should not use this as motivation. The 'motivation" should come from 28-0 in Gillette Stadium.

They will lose, BUT they better go down SWINGING!!!!

Duh. They didn't play with attitude - it's right there in PubeHead's piece. Football is all about attitude. (And making audibles at the line of scrimmage.)

A friend of mine lives in Boston and is a huge Pats fan. I asked him about this article and this Shaunnassy guy and he said the guy is full of crap. He said the guy is a baseball guy and doesn't know anything about football. He also said all the Pats fans he talks to expects a hard fought game and are not calling it an easy game just because of the previous game.

Exactly. This article can be kindle wood to a fire that should already be burning.

They had everything to play for in the last two games of the season and couldn't do it. If they didn't have motivation to get the number 1 seed against the Vikings and Colts then that is a bad sign.

They should have already had motivation enough to end out the season. This article might make them angry but at the end of the day they better have the fire burning way before this article came out.

We still need to get this offense going because against Cincy we couldn't punch it in. When you get to the red zone you sure as hell better score especially against a team like the Patriots. You can't make mistakes and give them anything.

Having said all this. We will give them a fight this game. I think Wade will make sure to smack them in the mouth. But Kubiak better have this offense on point.

    GO TEXANS

Come on guys. Be real. This guy has a few good points. Schaub is a scrub and Kubiak is always doing some dumb s#*%. I don't know about being the worst 11-1 team in NFL history but he has a point. I hope the Texans can prove him wrong but the Patriots are so experienced in the playoffs. Hopefully they'll let their guard down and play too cocky and the Texans can get em but I don't know.

The writer is a joke and is a joke in Boston. He is mainly a baseball writer and he's a joke there too. He's been mocked pretty routinely ever since he did one of those "Astros Tombstone" type articles about the Yankees a few years back when the Red Sox had the division lead in May or so and said something along the lines of "This ones over. The Yankees have no chance." Yankees came back to win the division and the world series.

    He is a troll's troll.

We've gone from overrated to overlooked in 4 weeks.

Advantage Texans. We're supposed to lose right? Maybe if we get a few breaks....get an early turnover...run the ball and keep it close going into the 4th we can win it.

After all, last year we were big underdogs with a rookie QB at Baltimore and almost pulled it off.

It's quite fitting in the 'not for long' league. Trickle down bad line play for 4weeks and it's almost like the first 12 weeks didn't happen. the offense just didn't forget how to play this foosball thing.
But they have all the right to write whatever they want, since we allowed their D to look like the 2000 Ravens
