Some of these people on Twitter. Why be a jackass towards a complete stranger who they are aware has mental health problems?

Problem is he is viewing fans as illogical. And we deem his thinking illogical.
Who is really being ILLOGICAL here?

I think his mental illness and his, lets call them character flaws, are two different things. I totally respect his health and I understand it, if he can't work under these conditions... But he is acting like he wants to change the world and is a man on a mission - like he deserves more than other people, like his way is e only right way and like he is the chosen one to revolutionize the way people treat people with anxiety disorder.

Right now he is not helping his cause. And he was in a prime position to help it... With different and viewer words most people would support him - and it would be more about finding a way to make it work than about what a spoiled person he is.

Texas is at will, his protocol is not in his contract, He is not fulfilling his contract requirements. Cut him and sue him for breach of contract and damages. Damages should be value of 1st round pick. Royce has no chance at winning here and that's a great thing.

Suspend him and have contract voided in order to retain his rights so he won't be playing for anyone in the NBA unless its the Rockets. Not that I want him on the Rockets.

This idiot thinks he can join a league that just spent half an NBA season negotiating on a new CBA and is hoping that the Rockets, in writing, adds an addendum to his contract...He isnt fighting to bring awareness, but instead trying to confuse and bring discord...He thinks he can stall a professional business in order to achieve what he wants...

The advice he got from his lawyers and medical team have been way off line. Royce is bound to lose everything(especially his dream of playing in the NBA), as lawyers and courts clean him out for whatever he is worth...There are right ways to do things are wrong ways to do stuff...So far every indication is that Royce is out of line.

Hoping Stern would allow the Royce salary to not have cap implications

He lost any sympathy from me a long time ago, ATW, and I was initially supportive. Most of us were. He's destroyed the trust between the fans and Royce White. What's sad is that he seems oblivious of that fact, or simply doesn't care. His Quixotic "crusade" that has consisted of vague innuendo and less vague insults towards the organization, now including insulting Daryl Morey by name, and accusing the Rockets of lying, has reached a new low. I don't know if the few remaining members supporting him are all idiots, but the salient point in that his remaining supporters are few in number. Most of us now want to simply see him go, and the distraction and constant insults, insults without substance, accusations without a basis in fact, presented by Mr. White himself in an endless number at the Rockets, to just go away. Far, far away.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really enjoying what has turned into a remarkable season. Let Royce White drift away in a fog of his own making, tweeting in the ether, a ghost existing because he killed his NBA career, stillborn before it began. Let him tilt at windmills if he likes. Just go away and leave us all alone, please. Like yesterday. Just go away. And if you won't shut up and leave the Rockets and their fans in peace, go to Hell.

"White has since maintained that his dispute with the Rockets is not about the D-League assignment, but according to an individual with knowledge of their talks, he has told the Rockets he would not accept an assignment to the Vipers."

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...ne-week-after-he-refused-d-league-assignment/

In his mind, the Rockets are forcing him to go to the D-League and "forcing" isn't safe or healthy for him. What a joke. Forcing him to be paid millions to play a game.

Maybe the league will allow the Rockets to have 82 home game each year + all playoff games.

So he wants to change his contract while the ink is still drying? Isn't that the purpose of a legal binding contract...to hold both parties to agreed upon understanding. Des he think he can change the contract whenever he wants regardless of what the other party wants?

I still think he wants no-show practices, games etc at-will. I am sure there is verbiage in the contract that addresses penalties for unexcused absences and I think that is what he wants to amend. He wants to remove all stress...to come and go as he pleases because that in and of itself would alleviate stress.

Does anyone know if White is just meeting with his own personal doctors, or the doctors that the Rockets have hired? I have a feeling that White's doctors are saying something that the Rockets don't like.

Remember a while back Bullard said that White had refused to meet with team doctors?

    I'll ask once again.
I am ambivalent re. Morey but has Morey taken any blame on CF for the RW pick?
Forgive me for not being overly emotional at White's Grantland video. Nice vid and all but it wouldn't have made me eager to risk a 1st round pick on him.
Are we too believe Morey had no idea White had this "fight the power and rewrite the rules for me" side to him when Morey did his due diligence on the player prior to the draft?

Ugh. I'm already tired of the damn dude and I'd just about forgotten about him until this.

    Let's go ROX!

OK, so I think we are seeing what he wants, and I see why the Rockets can't go for it. Royce wants to change his contract so that Royce gets to select his own doctor, and then the Rockets would have to do whatever his personal doctor recommends(which could be pretty much anything Royce wants if he finds the right doctor).
