Besides the Texans, who's your favorite team?

I've been a fan of what the Pats have done the last decade, so I'd probably root for them over any AFC team other than the Texans. For these playoffs, a team I'm really pulling for is the Redskins. I just love watching RGIII do his thing. Kind of like how exciting it was to see Vick in the playoffs early in his career.

I never understood this "second team" crap. What are you a bunch of girls? "I like this team and this team and this team....."

You have one team and one team only. None of this my team is out so I'm going for my other team bla blah

I only the Texans. It screams of being a bandwagon fan to like multiple teams.

What's wrong with having a second team, or just favoring another team? I've got a bunch of scenarios where that'd be reasonable:

    1. Fan of team from your original city but an expansion team starts/a team moves to your new city.

    2. On the flipside, you move to a new locale and by default follow the team there.

    3. You have a favorite player, sometimes because they played for your favorite college team, are from your area, family or friend, etc...

    4. You like a team's colors.

There's more but there's no need to criticize others rooting for another team if they so choose.

My wife and I have adopted Seattle as our eventual second home so I have also adopted the Seahawks as my NFC team (except when they play the Texans!).

Look at these people on their high horses! I'm allowed to root for whatever team I want, thank ya much. I enjoy watching good football and basketball, regardless of allegiance. I have teams that I love (Texans, Rockets), teams that I like (Seahawks, Nuggets, Warriors, Longhorns, Aggies), and teams that I hate (Cowboys, Mavericks, Irish, Trojans). I will be the first to admit that I am a fair-weather fan when it comes to the Astros, but that's because I hate to see them lose. Everyone roots for sports differently, they don't have to adhere to anyone else's guidelines.

Texans are main team, followed by the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys.

Although recently I've been throwing more support behind everyone but the Cowboys because of the way they keep collapsing.

I'll say the Saints. Not really a favorite but my back up team. When the Oilers left I jumped on the Saints bandwagon (not much to jump on, but better than being a cowboys fan imo) until we got the Texans. I got a few years invested in them plus Brees is my fantasy QB.

I hate reading your posts. You are so annoying. Sometimes you have interesting comments that contribute to the conversation but 90% of your posts are just ugh.

The first three are the only real exceptions. I should have pointed that out. Although with #3, that's more of a X-Only-Fan. We know here how much people hate those.

But #4.....are you fucking serious? Because you like the team colors? Hahahahahahahahahaha

I'm sorry but unless you are 5 years old, no grown ass man should be a fan of a team because of the "color". That's so gay

Sorry I guess I'm just old school like that.I come from a belief that you root for one team and one team only. We're a dying bred. That's part of the reason why we have so many fair weather fans in Houston. They have that same mindset. Nothing wrong with that. Just sayin'. It's a new age of fans.

I seriously don't get it how people cheer for more than one team. When your 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th team loses or win, do you feel the same emotion as you do when your 1st team wins or loses? Are you emotionally invested in all those teams?

Sure i'll watch a good game if my team isnt playing but I don't give a damn if other teams win or lose. It does nothing for me if Team B lose a overtime thriller or Team X wins after being down 20 in the 4th. But I guess that makes me weird if I like one team and one team only. I'm like the only one in my circle like this so I guess I am lol

every other team can suck it. i've rooted for others from time to time...but there's the Texans and then the other teams I hate least descending from there. it bottoms out at the Cowboys.

I root for the Texans, Astros and Rockets BECAUSE they're from Houston. A pro sports team winning a championship representing another city does nothing for me...I don't share in that victory at all.
