only chance is long sustained drives to keep Brady off the field, and not settling for FGs which we are capable of
If foster plays great like today, we got a chance. The o line also has to play just as well as they played today. I hope wade comes up with a better defensive gameplan than last time though.
hey may have been saving master magician Bill Belichek some looks last time. This time it'll be all out war. 28-24 Texans in a shocker.
Considering making a trip to Boston for the game....don't expect Texans to win, but would be a fun experience in foxboro
31-26 Pats Texans again settle for 4 FGs. They have more total yards than the Patriots but lose because of their inability to score TDs.
well, lucky for us brady isn't going to be playing D? I mean if it were that easy, i'd just say he look matt threw for 520 yds and 5tds against jags. Tina threw for 2 picks against that pathetic d!! If the line holds up and I have confidence it will, the offense will be in full effect. Self inflected penalties in the RZ are going to have to stop.
Flacco and Sanchez have both won playoff games in Foxboro. The key is zero mistakes. Last game opened with a barrage of mistakes and missed opportunities and it sunk us. Wiped out a 17-yard run and a third down stop; led to an end zone pick and a loose football we couldn't cover. If we're clean (and they weren't today), it could get interesting.
Tom Brady himself says Ed Reed is the one player he hates playing against. Not surprising that the Ravens have beaten the Pats. However, this 2TE set that the Pats implement is a thing a beauty. Then you add the new found running game this season. It's a different animal. Can the offense go to Foxboro (in the elements) and put up 35pts+ without asking Schaub to do anything out of the ordinary?
A better throw, IMO, and Manning's in perfect position to make a play. Coverage wasn't perfect but looked to be there.
I can see the Texans winning. The reason being is that 2 years ago in the 2010 playoffs, the Patriots played the Jets in the 2nd round. Jets were the heavy underdogs in that game and in the regular season, the Patriots murdered the Jets 45-3 on a primetime game just like the way they murdered the Texans earlier this year. Well, the Jets ended up upsetting them and won by 7 in that game. Keep in mind that Mark friggin Sanchez was their Qb. Houston at least has Matt Schaub, who is a very talented QB and a hell of a lot better than Mark Sanchez. Hope history repeats itself and by history, I mean the 2010 playoffs, not earlier this season.
All depends on the gameplan. We got one week to prepare and it better be good. Knowing belicheck, he's looking at tape, learning the offensive and defensive stands of ours, and not sleeping. If we want to win, kubiak needs to come up with a better offensive scheme . if we do that, Texans 35 Patriots 31
It's very possible. The Pats didn't even have their best receiving threat last time and the Texans got waxed by good passing teams all year.
