Gee, an extra timeout could have helped us there... preferably one that wasn't burned earlier before the 2 minute warning.

he had to down it to stop the clock. if he doesn't down it, the clock runs out with no attempt for a field goal or td.

Too many runs, screens, and short passes called at various points that forced TOs to be called. The TO Kubes called before the 3rd and Goal play comes back to bite us in the ass. Bad clock management, bad play calling.

I like that we went for it...although, I think if Cincy didnt call a timeout after the first run play, it looked as if we were content with just running the clock out and ending the half. Once Cincy called the TO, it showed Kubiak that they werent going to just let the Texans ride the clock out.

In any case, I like that we went for it.

Horrible. I have never seen this team play with a sense of urgency. Ever. How do you not run up and spike/clock on that first down? Wasted time out. Walking around...

    Texans under Kubiak have never:
    Played with urgency
    Called an audible
    Thrown a fade route

you know what freaks me out? special teams. that coverage is scaring me...when cincy gets the ball back for the 2nd half, we can start pushing the momentum on our side afterwards..

man, i'm terrified, but excited at the same time.

    schaub needs to wake up!

It was bizarre to see Schlub trying with urgency to get us a score there since he never does it
