this was the card I played and I'm regretting it now. thinking about paying the early term fee and switching to comcast. these rockets are just too fun to watch to deal with the streaming blurs.
I hear you. It's so irritating that Rockets fans are involved in a war of media moguls. I don't see why the Satellite companies and ATT-UV can't just carry CSN and pass a portion of the cost to the fans, like an extra $5 or even $10 a month. It sure beats losing these same fans to Comcast!
Too much of a price hike for just one channel that won't be widely viewed. By the way, there are some Astros fans in other parts of Texas that are beginning to complain, as baseball season gets closer. Talking about becoming Rangers fans.
Thought about switching.. $280 early termination on Directv. effin crazy. Getting used to watchin pixels play ball, I just connect my laptop to the tv via hdmi cable. Fortunately this team resembles the UN, and it's not too hard to tell which color pixel is which.
Sad thing is I don't have a contract with DirecTv anymore, I've done more than my 2 years..but I can't switch to Comcast where I am. Even if I could, don't know if I would...the quality of DirecTv is fantastic.
i sold my soul, and getting comcast installed on Wed. 1 year deal,triple play, 2 DVR's 4 rooms, 150 bucks/month, 250 gift card, rockets games, astros games etc... etc... whatever. at the end of the day DirectTV's customer service wasnt that great either, and i dont feel like i thought i would. being a fan, is being fanatical and i missed listening to all those stories of certain plays during certain games that i just couldnt watch and connect with. maybe in a year this whole mess is sorted out, and i'll rethink my provider then. Or it could drag out like it has in Portland, and I just cant act like it doesnt bother me when i miss the games anymore. GO ROX!!

No, I am not talking about that site, if you want to watch them in any reasonable time frame, you have to pay them $$, for SOMEONE ELSE'S PRODUCT, and I absolutely will NOT do that, that is stolen property. I will get it a hell of a lot faster and for free, all in one file, just by downloading a torrent.

I don't have the option to switch to Comcast, because I definitely would switch if it were possible. Still, I called them to complain and ended up getting 15$ off per month.
I noticed today that CSN Houston is no longer listed in directvpromise.com. Please don't play with my emotions.
