I agree that there is a high possibility of bias based on who did the investigation. Unless there is evidence that refutes those claims, what are we suppose to base our opinions on? In addition, the video was released by the same group to show the public proof that he was indeed holding a knife.

 

Did you read the report where the driver corroborated the knife or is he on the police payroll as well?

 

Doing something this stupid in front of the police is just asking for it. Everyone should be well aware that police will empty their magazines into you if you make threatening gestures after ignoring multiple commands. If a cop is screaming at you with his gun out, you might get shot.

This is basically the equivalent of seeing a bear eating salmon, and then charging the bear to steal its dinner. The guy wanted to die.
