According to McCain on the radio, hes been itching to get back on the field since preseason, so he keeps rushing it and reaggrevating. If you pay close attention to his play this season, he doesn't have the explosion off the line.
Not Texans related, but i can't bear the thought of a jug head vs. pretty boy afc title game talked about on sports center for 24hrs a day. But back to topic on hand Texans 24 Bengals 17
Jeff Van Gundy just said nervous doesn't even begin to describe his true emotions about tomorrow. I guess I'm just numb or have no expectations for this team, but it just feels like another game to me. If they lose, they lose. If they win, that's cool. Maybe Gary has finally broken my spirit.
Lol, I'll never forget when JVG asked why there wasnt an ESPN Houston website, and Mark Jackson told him because he (JVG) would put Matt Schaub on every page. Sigh.
If Kubiak would turn this offense loose (especially on third downs) then the Texans talent will trump the Bengals. that is a very big IF though
So true, that's the REAL issue with this team, has been for years. I have zero confidence in Kubiak. Zero. I actually feel bad for the players, because a great coach could take them farther, I'm convinced of it. Nevertheless, I wish them well tomorrow, maybe they won't look like the "walking dead" for a change. I still haven't decided if I am going to watch; I have had enough torture. Maybe I'll follow the score on the net and if they have any life in them, I might tune in. In sharp contrast, I enjoyed the heck out of watching the Aggies tonight. What a performance; supercharged. That's what I wish the Texans were like, electric!
I see one of three things happening: 1.) A close game where both teams are hanging tough until a third quarter turnover turns the game upside down (kind of like last year's game, in a way). This scenario is least likely to happen, in my opinion. 2.) The Texans come out and play like they've played the last three plus weeks and get beat handily, although the score won't show it. 3.) The Texans wake the eff up and realize they are superiorly talented. They play like they played for the first part of the season, and like we all feel they should. A team as talented as this one (or one that talks as if they're that talented) needs to strap up for a playoff game. I think this is the most likely scenario. Either way, in my opinion, we will have a good idea of how the game will end up by the finish of the first quarter.
Texans are getting ZERO respect from espn... AJ green/aj80 both experts selected green. Dline both selected cincinnati. Under the radar players both selected Cinci players. It's almost as if they are giving the HOME TEAM Texans no chance to win this.
New season starts today! We're the underdog but I believe. If there's a time to get hot it's now!. Vamos Texans Texans 28 Bengals (Trout) 17
Keyshawn Johnson can go f$&k himself. I'm ok with us being dogged because we've been terrible but to call out JJ Watt? He's an idiot.
It has become so popular to pick Cinci for the "upset" that people are coming up with stupid reasons now.
Ya he just brushed off watts season as if it wasnt that impressive. He also said the texans have been "masquerading" as a good team all year.
