If the Rockets don't trade White now, they won't be able to trade a $0.75 bag of chips for him later.

I meant, if the Rockets don't trade White now, they won't be able to get a $0.75 bag of chips for him later.

    Trade him now.

Royce White to Indiana for Miles Plumlee straight up.

I don't really see us signing Milsap for the amount of money some dumb team is probably gonna give him.

    So PASS.

That article is talking about finding guys to help make a playoff push for teams this year. ;)

Like Gorat to the Celtics, Prince to the Nets, Scola to the Nuggets, Millsap to Houston, Shannon Brown to LA, Gortat to the Bucks, Marcus Thornton to Minnesota, Fredette to Portland, Calderon to Utah.

Douglas, Machado and one or both NY 2nd rounders to MIA for James Jones, MIA's choice of Harris/Pittman/Harrellson and the Sixers 2013 first rounder*
(*Top-14 Protected in the 2013 Draft, top-14 Protected in 2014 and top-14 protected in the 2015 Draft) If Miami has not yet received a first round pick by 2015, then they will receive Philadelphia's own 2015 and 2016 second round picks. [Miami-Philadelphia, 06/28/2012]

Miami gets a decent backup PG in Douglas, who's been playing well and would fit well with their team. He's also about a gazillion times better than Norris Cole. With the additions of Allen & Lewis, Jones has no role on the Heat any more.

Rockets take on James Jones $1.5M deal that runs through 2013-14, get a (potential) first rounder for it, replace Douglas with Beverley, make room by waiving whatever minimum player MIA would send.

Probably makes no sense contract wise now, but one guy that I like as a player is Ersan Ilyasova. To me, he is similar to Ryan Anderson but undervalued by a crowded front court and lack of minutes. About the same contract, too. Can use a plus range shooter and rebounder. It will also be great to have an all Turkish front court with him, Asik and later Furkan Aldemir.

He would be interesting, but other than a good starting caliber SF (Parsons), I don't think that the Bucks would really care for anything else from the Rockets (Harden off limits, obviously).

Thought this was kinda interesting, says we loved Derrick Williams going into the 2011 draft...

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>I'll add this on DWill value: Suns/Rockets/Spurs/LAL loved him entering draft. Maybe solo he fetches a lot w/ them. Just doubt Orl. <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23twolves">#twolves</a></p>&mdash; Darren Wolfson (@DarrenWolfson) <a href="https://twitter.com/DarrenWolfson/status/287192032680763392" data-datetime="2013-01-04T13:41:31+00:00">January 4, 2013</a></blockquote>
    <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

(Doubt we'd have much interest now though considering how disappointing he's been and how many tweener forwards we already have).

I was really hoping that the Rockets did so in the offseason...He is really solid player, much like Parsons but without the handles...Like his game, but didnt expect Parsons to have the season he is having right now...Based off that, i dont see why the Rockets would make that move.

The Milsap deal is the best one we can seek. I can guarantee you, that if Milsap plays here one year, he will sign an extension...Love, Aldridge may be pipe dreams, but Milsap makes us a really good team...could easily see the Rockets vying for the 4th or 5th seed with him...

would LA be the best teammate to Harden?

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=b5hjvbl

    Houston Gets: Lamarcus Aldridge

Portland Gets: Pau Gasol and a draft pick

Los Angeles Gets: PPat, Morris, Douglas, Filler

I would love to see LA next to Harden for the next 6 years, but i am pretty sure Portland will never give him up. But boy if he fell from grace, wouldn't it be great to see this trade go down(especially since we got that Russian backup PG now)

LeBron or bust. You have to aim higher with Ppat and Morris.
