They are 15-16, with the next 5 games
    - away Clippers
    - home Denver
    - away Houston
    - away San Antonio
    - Home OKC

Could potentially be 15-21 and the pressure would be on! Having said that, the rest of their schedule lightens up after this stretch.

Brooklyn has an $90M payroll next season. I don't see it.

kind of funny that the rockets landed the true superstar quietly without the howard tomfoolery.

While I agree with you, Dallas is looming in the background as a real threat to land him. The real question is will CP3 leave the Clippers for the Mavs to make Dwight's defection worth it? Ultimately, I think the answer to that question is no, therefore Dwight will stay with the Lakers.

I don't see Paul or Howard leaving. Paul and the Clippers have a good thing going. How far they'll go, who knows, but I don't see him leaving. How much better is Dallas than Los Angeles(for either of them)? Is it even better? Just doesn't make sense for either to leave their current team.

Since Nash returned from his injury, Kobe has taken more shots than Nash + Gasol + Dwight COMBINED. Kobe has to understand this isn't Phil coaching. He needs to adapt his game in other ways. He still can score, but the Lakers need his overall game more than ever.

I didn't think so, because I fully 100% believed they would bounce back and make the playoffs. I'm starting to not be so sure now

The only scenario where he leaves is one where they miss the playoffs. Even then he might not. But it's possible.

It's still early. There is still time to make the playoffs. Calm down. :p

I know, it's crazy/hard to believe that I'm giving Dwight the benefit of the doubt, but when he says he already knows where he's going to sign and talks about being the man after Kobe is gone, I believe him.

That is a make or break stretch for their season, especially the games against Denver and Houston. Those three teams are competing for the last few playoff spots.

since Kobe called his team old does that mean the Lakers won't be able to catch up to us because were young and they're basically old

i really dont see Paul leaving the clippers now -- the clippers are the team in LA right now it seems -- while Kobe is still the player -- there are a lot of Griffin/Paul guys and as Kobe declines with his age it will really end up being Paul's and Griffin's team.

whats bigger for a guy -- to be 'the man' in Dallas or the same in 'los angeles?'

(this of course throws out the theories of LeBron becoming a Laker in 2014 which I keep hearing on radio stations here)

What's odd is why dictator sperm hasn't done anything, because his team is losing.

Yes, Mike D'Antoni. Take one of the best post players in the league in Gasol and make him stand out and shoot 3's. Brilliant strategy.

Do you think he's happy being Kobe's b****?

Serious question. Pau is fine with it.
