Yah and most of those turnovers were not his fault early on. It was guys not anticipating passes or letting the ball go through their hands when we came out flat and sluggish to start off the game. Just not being on the same page.
Harden is almost taken for granted, because he's so good consistently. Watching Harden is amazing, but I think everyone knows how good Harden is, but when players such as Delfino have big nights they get props, because they don't have big games day in-day out.
Delfino was a star tonight. So was douglas! Anyone have links to quotes from Buck's forums? I want to read what the fans thought of their 3rd quarter melt down haha!
I didn't think we would be very good even after the trade. But who could have predicted we would be praising the amazing play of Delfino, Patterson, and Douglas? You just never know.
Gotta say, McHale has some faith in Lin. I would've kept him on the bench the entire 4th quarter with the way TD was playing. Instead he puts Lin in while the game was still close....
Rockets played like crap the first half....Machado was actually doing better than Lin on the floor. Yet....Rockets still defeated a 7th seed East team by double digits....WOW! If this was in the beginning it would have been a done deal....shows that the Rockets have improved much.
Or, maybe McHale prefers playing small with the bench because it makes them quicker defensively and gives them better shooting on offense.
not necessarily so, consistent turnovers don't happen. rockets have more than once out of the due to hot shooting, good d over a consistent period of time have gone out to leads in the 3rd quarter. you have to give credit where it due especially since the fact the rockets are on the road.
I was thinking the same. Lin, Douglas, Harden, Patterson, Delfino then Parson in for Douglas in the 4th quarter.
This is not accurate. Go look at the play by play. At the 9:51 mark in the 4th, it was still at 6 point game at 78-84. That is not garbage time. He made a bucket that put the team up 8, then Bucks answered with a 3 which put it back to a 5 point game. His numbers came after that.
