Lin needs to step up offensively and Harden needs to step it up defensively. No way should Udrih should be blowing pass Harden like that.
ameb to you and yao. though not the death row please. bring him to the gallows if he bricks 2 more 3s.
I dunno about that honestly. It's like when the defense just plays off of you and dares you to shoot and pack the paint.
If he continues to brick his 3's, he shouldn't be standing that far from the basket. Why didn't he just cut toward the basket without the ball?
problem is, if harden plays tough D he gives a foul . guess he needs to learn from his buddy lebron on how to go ham on def without a foul.
Damn....Hardin is having a hard time guarding Ellis. And what's with all the offensive rebounds by the Bucks.....
Im drooling over their front-court. Udoh, Sanders and Henson is such a good collection and combo. If Ilyasova can find the kind of form he had before he singed the massive contract, then they will have the best front-court rotation in the league. They should trade Dalembert and Gooden to get some wing help.
I made this point a couple of times in the last game thread vs NOH, but Lin seems to overcompensate against known shotblockers. First it was Duncan, then Ibaka, then Davis, and now Sanders. He either passes it when he should shoot, or he throws up a wild shot attempt that has little chance of getting it. Considering he gets most of his points from driving I find it worrying that he has a lose-lose mentality going into the game.
Of course, 15 players and it's all Lin. Team is 11 down, lots of basketball to go. That's why the game is 48 minutes and not 24 minutes. There was more than enough turnovers and air balls to go around. Not to mention the officiating was very inconsistent most of the night. Some wierd calls on the Rockets for a good part of the game, then some strange ones on the Bucks in the last part of the 2nd quarter. It seems like dodgy officiating happens more often when there's 8 or 10 games on. Few too many new/questionable officials in the league right now. I suspected it could be a wierd game tonight. And playing on the road is always dodgy when it comes to calls. Doesn't help that most of the team can't hit their jumpers. I'm reserving judgement until the rest of the game plays out.
