It should be enough to not make him the least athletic QB out there. It wasn't Matt Stafford's tackle but it wasn't Sanchez flinching at upcoming contact either. I just remember this play because I was mad at the blocker for not dropping the hammer on Peyton.

When it comes to assessing players, I judge the the player not the jersey.
Your reputation: If Schaub plays well, you'll be elsewhere, formulating convoluted "yeah but" retorts to avoid even remotely praising him. And the millisecond he underperforms, presto! You'll magically reappear to jump up and down and holler, "LOOKATME!" You have no creditability when it comes to Schaub. You don't think he can succeed, you don't want him to succeed, and you're just as happy with a loss/Schaub failure as you are a Texan win.

I said I didn't care what he did against the Jags, Titans, etc (Colts and Vikings games established a new low). He will do what any good QB will do against those opponents. I circled critical games that I had my eyes on . Games that would establish him as an elite QB , not on a Texan fan site, but accepted by the vast majority of America. Secondly, you chose to have a "LOOKATME" moment when you started this paltry thread only 4 games into the season with pedestrian numbers too. So did you think , that if Schaub did not live up to your hyped up pedestal , that people (I included) would just sit on their hands? What was there for you to be "right" about in that thread? Edit: This is a rhetorical question, because I know you think Eli is better than Schaub, which is an opinion I have no issue with (although your method for coming to this conclusion is probably horribly flawed). Like I said, most of the time your opinions are just way off base. Most, not all.
Eli over Schaub. You actually said they are equal in talent. Schaub's average arm and Oscar-winnning impersonations of the Statue of Liberty are equal to Eli Manning. You said that.
My "LOOKATME" moment didn't include me calling out specific posters so I could shout, "LOOKATME" as yours did after Schaub fell into this recent funk. (A funk, btw, I've never denied, hidden from or tried to excuse - you should try it sometime.) Additionally, it was 8 games (last year actually happened and counts) when I first started the thread. BTW, it would eventually stretch to 16 games, a period in which the team went 15-1 and Schaub posted a QBR of 100+ in 8 of the 16 games. (And was 87.2, or better, in three others.). As a point of comparison, Tom Brady posted a 100+ in 9 of his 16 games this year. Manning? 10. Rodgers? 8. Etc. If you consider that stretch "pedestrian" - well, that's why you have no creditbility when it comes to Matt Schaub. It's unfortunate that, other than the first Colt game (another 100+ performance, btw), he's played poorly down the stretch this year because it provided enough ammunition for simpletons to pretend those three games had more relevance than the other 17 he's played in.
Yep. And I still think they're about equal in terms of talent. The only thing that separates them is postseason success, which Schaub is finally going to get a chance at this year. While Eli and his turnovers and inaccurate arm sit at home. I prefer Matt's style of play. Sorry that bothers you. If Matt gets to the playoffs and craps the bed repeatedly, ill gladly give Eli the nod over him. But I have no reason to do that until Schaub actually gets his chance.

Go read the thread I linked to. I already said I have no issue with anyone picking Eli over Matt. Eli has a stronger arm, but he is erratic and panicky in the pocket. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
