Mmm I might have overestimated the talent level of the rookies in general and assumed they would be deserving of some playing time. But of course, I know rookie development =/= playing time. If anything, I would argue that playing time offers a more accelerated development pace than being sent to the D-League.

I think most folks will agree with you on this. But that comes with a price. The non rookies (more NBA ready) whom we are also trying to develop will get less minutes. Hence, stunting their development. I feel that sending them to D-League is a very good compromise for all the players.

For sure, I have no complaints now about rookie playing time. Sure I would love to see DMo play more but I understand the rationale and it's working out for McHale so no complaints. But at the start of the season, I severely discounted what Morris could provide and viewed him merely as trade fodder - thus not deserving of playing time/development. I was wrong :p.

Bad math is bad. Four games above .500 (extrapolated out of course) comes out to 43-39 if we go .500 for the rest of the year.

4 games over .500 as it stands now 18-14 = .563 - THAT win% extrapolated out over the rest of the season = 46 wins. Please understand that extrapolating doesn't mean keeping the same margin of games but rather means keeping same win%.

I expect that % to be closer to .600 by the end of the season. Lin should be healed, successful rotations should be solidified, youngsters will have more experience and confidence, brand new team should have much better chemistry, recent additions (Beverley, Anderson) should generate minor improvements...
