So I guess it was you? Please only yell when the opposing team is shooting FTs bro and cut back on the beers a bit.

Mannn, I went to the Bulls game on Christmas Day.....and that had to be the quietest arena in NBA history until Nate Robinson started making a mini comeback. I was shocked at how quiet it was...I mean quiet enough to hear the ball dribbling from the upper section. They made the Toyota Center sound like Lambeau Field...lol

Well, to be fair they were getting manhandled by the Rockets.

Is it me or did they move the red rowdies further back? If they weren't, they should be closer. They'd be able to impact the game and the fans much more. Right now they're just sound like the drunk section of the arena lol

red rowdies have gotten extremely lame. They're chants are very intermediate/high schoolish.

There is no question we have the worst fans in the NBA. Go to a Warriors game (whether the team is bad or good) and you would see real basketball fans.

Team gets better and funner to watch every year (over the past 3 years) and the stadium gets quieter and quieter.

Its to the point where it is awkward to make noise since everybody else in your section is quiet as hell. Maybe scatter rowdies throughout several sections lol.

    Our fan base loves winners.

Rocket playoff games have always been crazy.
Texans playoff game last year made my ears ring for days.

As this team keeps winning, which they will. More people will come.

I went to the game yesterday. It's sad the amount of empty seats and just how quiet the games are. I think it's our owner. Mark Cuban purposely makes the seats cheap in the lower bowl at Mavs games to get young crazy fans to be loud. All the people in lower bowls are in the suites.

We've known this for a while.
Hell, trying to put Lin in the spotlight before we got Harden says it all. People only come out when its worth coming out.

LOL in the rowdy section? no sir...you would never catch me over there. You responded after me, so I assumed when you referenced "fool", you were talking about me. Could be misunderstanding but i responded humorously to the claim...couldn't help myself.

Completely agree I've been to a few games this year and the crowds been pretty good. Don't know what everyone expects when the teams been so bad the last couple of years. The Harden and Lin additions and some playoff success should fix the attendance and noise factors.

I miss some of the old stuff the rowdies did.

One of my favorite all time chant was "awesome headband!" When we played Memphis, Mike Miller had long flowing locks and used the headband to keep his hair together. I want more chants like that.

I want some who are you? Chants when there is a scrub at the free throw line. Not, you will miss it chants.

I was sitting close to them last night and they chanted "Katrina" when the Hornets were on defense. I guess to say that their defense breaks down like the levies did during Katrina? Pretty f'd up.

I like the idea of a rabid section of the fanbase, but considering how fair weather the city is towards basketball and that the Rowdies are sponsored and selected by the team, it comes off as forced and awkward. Not to mention, being tied in with the organization can lead to censorship of some of the more aggressive chants. Can't say I don't appreciate the effort though.
