cant say too much on irving,but man gotta agree with you on that poise thing on Lillard.He's not afraid to take the big shot in 4th.In one game i watched the other team is reluctant to take a shot but lillard take & hits.

But again I think I'll judge a bit once the season /half the season is over,and so does with rubio ,Irving and Lin.

 

Yeah, I really like Lillard.

I'm very happy with where Lin is at. 6 of his last 9 games have been very good, and I think he is over "the hump" for good, as long as he stays healthy.

There will still be some tough games, but I think he will steadily improve, and perform, from here on in.

 

Well assists is a funny stat....because to get one you have to have a big guy who can make a lay up. If the rockets had one of those lin and harden would have 12 a game. And over the last 10 games isn't Lin shooting over 50 percent from the field and scoring 16 a game.

Why are his stats up? Well the coaching staff has changed how he's being used.
I would expect that lins shooting percentage will mprove from three pint land and he will be a 20- 10 guy. That will put him in the top 5 in the nba. Beyond those shooting/ assists stats theres the steals and blocked shots and rebounds which Lin excels at. Lin is playing well even when he only scores 9 like last night and this team moves the ball way better when he's on the floor. There's simply more to this game than stats

 

I've only watched a few of Lin's game last season, but after 30+ games here in Houston i can see why there's so much love for the guy. The dude is a team oriented basketball player. He has shown he can get so much out of the rest of the team than most pg in the league. Didn't the dude won 8 straight as a Knicks with a bunch of bench warmers? Without Harden, the Rocket's almost beat one of the best teams in the NBA (Spurs).

I'm happy he's here and starting to play well. Not sure if it was his knee or the early season adjustment but he did stunk early in the season. I think this 10-15 game stretch is the real Lin.

If Lin took 10 shots and made 3 what does that give you??? If Vasquez shot 15 shots and made only 6 what does that give you??? You wanna know the difference?? Lin was on his ass that made him have that percentage while Lin just had an off night along with getting blocked going to the basket and being aggressive...

 

PhiSlamma is a genius as a veteran in this forum. You can't deny his "hate" on Lin cuz it always sounds right and reasonable. :grin:

You have to give Vasquez credit for his on-court recognition and doing his homework on scouting reports. He had a grand total of 2 points until there was just over 2 minutes left in the 3rd when Lin went to the locker room with a nosebleed. Vasquez immediately recognized that Ouglas was on him, attacked, and quadrupled his point total for the night in the next 1 minute and 8 seconds. Also immediately attacked and scored when he realized he had Harden on him.
