    just watched this.
    I have to say as a parent this was EXTREMELY hard to watch.

    Kate and David are two remarkable human beings, and there's NO way I would have been able to do what they did.

    Why on God's green earth would you watch something so legendarily sad? I don't even want to see screenshots after reading this thread.

    Despite being one of the more depressing things you'll see, the movie is also a love letter to David, Kate, Andrew and Zachary. There are two sides to the same coin in this movie: deranged evil and totally devoted love.
