This team is only as good as it's worst player on the court. Fortunately, they're all pretty good and improving daily.

Great game by PPat, we won the game because of him and Asik. Once Asik figures himself out on offense, we'll be rolling over the competition.

Why didn't you just say that you don't like Douglas? It would have been simpler that way.

Not true. Lin is a better defender than Harden.

...and that's all I've got. Full-court passes, maybe?

Good point. I've seen Harden drop the ball on his assignment 10+ times this year. Good thing he more than makes up for that!

Okay. We'll ignore Lin's assists for a moment.

Vasquez (primary play-maker for Hornets) had 14 assists.

Lin ("not the primary play-maker" for Rockets) shot 3-10 from the field, 1-4 from three-point range and scored 9 points while being guarded by Vasquez.

Lin's been riding the coattails of Harden since Harden joined the Rockets.

I am sure it won't be long before one of LOFs posts a compilation of all the hard fouls on Lin.

The thread will be titled "Linsult plus Linjury - the story of NBA Lincompetence"

Stop posting if you didn't see the game. In that case, everyone is riding the coattails of Harden or Lebron. That's not how a team sport works. Do you like looking stupid online? Why would you do that?

LOL, I'd give it 5 stars based on the title alone.

If Jeremy Lin were an African-American point guard averaging 12.1 points 6.4 assists and shooting 27% from three-point range, his team would be on the lookout for an upgrade at the position.

Lin thrives in fast paced games and this team got back on defense every possession. I'm glad they did it too because this team needs to learn to beat teams in the halfcourt. They did it tonight with great team passing and serious effort on the boards and loose balls while on offense.

If Jeremy Lin is African-American, we wouldn't have had the pleasure of meeting you here at clutchfans, just saying.

The fact that Lin has attracted all the non-Rockets fans to this forum is in itself an Lincredible accomplishment.

Because Lin is the only Rocket who gets dissed after an overall solid game.

Want to start a discussion about Harden? Easy. Just start criticizing him after a good game and see what happens.

I am just don't understand. The refs were calling touch fouls all night while hits that resulted in a nose bleed gets no call.

What's the unspoken rule these days? If you are not a MAX player, you don't get a call unless you are carried out on a stretcher?

Lin stunk up the arena: 3-10 from the field, 9 points

Harden is the Lysol: 11-23 from the field, 31 points

While Vasquez (15 points, 14 assists) outperformed Lin, the Rockets won the game thanks to the shooting guard mismatch where Harden (31 points) absolutely dominated the Hornet's shooting guards (Rivers 4 points, Mason 0 points).

Nah...Don't do that. You would be labelled as a LOF and we would see many LOF vs. LOFH debates here. lol

Yes, Harden is a so-so defender but that deficiency rarely comes into picture because your average bball fan only cares about stats on offense. ;)

For example, cyclorider just posted FGM/FGA for Lin and Vazquez to highlight how Lin was an inferior player. While it's true in basketball you have to outscore your opponent, cyclorider conveniently ignored the fact you also have to stop the other team from scoring.

But what do I know... I am just another LOF.

Missed the game tonight. Love hearing that we won because of low TOs and great D.

Love hearing that Harden said afterwards it was a low scoring game for us even though we scored 104. :)

I came here as a Jeremy Lin and Rockets fan, but I'm definitely not a LOF. I've been a Rockets' fan since the Olajuwan-Sampson team beat the Lakers on Sampson's miracle shot in the '86 WCF. I just find the LOF so incredibly annoying, especially hating on the team's backup point guard as their method of propping up Lin. They aren't Rockets' fans. If Lin were traded, they'd leave this forum.
