    See this thread in feedback.

Thanks holly1985, gate470 and all. Nice to see that in some way those reviews are helpful.

I can't start threads yet, since I'm new here, but I think they are proper placed on the game thread anyway. But I'll keep posting whenever I can, and try to contribute in the best possible way.

    Great post-game analysis as always.

BTW, Harden dished out 7 assists tonight, just like Lin. It wouldn't be fair to say Lin was the only PG out there without giving Harden at least some credit.

After Stephen A. Smith publicly declared he's never heard of Chandler Parsons, this doesn't surprise me anymore. :p

Shuh, you're my favorite new poster. I don't have the ability to watch games, but your post games give me a good sense of what went down, along with the few highlights we get here and there.

Agreed, harden has to receive credit.

Perhaps I should rephrase that as: Lin was the most fit point guard out there for the halfcourt game. Harden has really incredible vision and passing skills, and that makes him dish a lot of assists. However, I think most of them are from a shooting guard position, when he drives to the basket and dishes, or catches it on top to shoot and attracts a defender away from the paint. Obviously, that is playmaking skills, sure.

That being said, when it comes to moving the ball to keep it flowing, hockey passes (that leads to a subsequent assist) or making the proper third pass before an assist or point, which is a pure PG assignment, I really think Lin was the only one tonight doing that. So, this is what I meant saying Lin was the only PG out there.

Harden is our best player and his assists are really important and prolific. He has playmaking skills and vision that can make him carry the PG job in a transition game, or fast paced environment. But neither him nor TD are a fit PG for a halfcourt setting, in my opinion, when the ball has to move to the right direction towards the finish 2 or 3 passes ahead. Harden usually finishes himself or makes the final assist, one of the two.

This is why stats can be meaningless at times. Please watch the game next time before posting.

Seems like Harden is a better playmaker that most of us thought.
