Holy crap. Astronomy is so damn interesting.

 

I find it interesting the people most interested about molecules of life 1 trilliion miles away are the same ones who have the most trouble connecting with life on their own planet. I guess it's a form of self-preservation magnified in the craze for fantasy movies like Lord of the Rings, Life of Pi, Spiderman, Avengers, The hurt locker, Blacks on Blondes Intergalactic XVI, etc.

But don't give up, friends. You can still connect to life on the very planet you live on.

Maybe it's time to put the telescope down, take your hand out of your pants and hug your wife. Look her in the eyes and ask her how she's been. How she's doing.
