I am. I'm rooting for the Clippers, even though I'm here in Oakland. Wishing the Warriors will go down so Rockets can go up.

Patrick Patterson did something Marcus Morris will never do.

Grab 10 rebounds in an NBA basketball game.

Harden has played average overall defensively and it is demonstrated in advanced statistics. The problem is the Rockets as a team are poor at guarding picks and are slow to respond on team defense.

Excellent breakdown of a captious and cranky hater who hasn't seen any positive things from Lin since he came to Houston.

Earlier in the season, Lin's crappy plays warranted condign criticisms. One thing you have to give to Lin. He is not afraid of the unpredictables. The guy made it in NYC against all odds. He never tried to avoid the onus of failure by lowering his expectation of his own plays.

So to King1, when will you be absconding like the little midget you are. :p

Clippers going to see a lot more losses this month with a tougher schedule. However, it's time for Rockets to grab a lot more wins this month if they stay consistent...hectic schedule but with weaker teams.

You're telling me this 2-11 performance Lin did on Vasquez can be attributed to your "reliable memory"?

You should start a thread to write reviews after every game.

The guy is probably a troll. Please don't fall for it and think he's a fan or hater. Just a simple troll.

Finally a post with some merit. Thanks for summarizing the game. Everything you posted matches my thoughts too, so they must be right! ;)

Playing in the half-court for so much of the game and at the pace the Hornets set worried me during the game, but I think it's positive overall. It's a bit disappointing that we didn't make their defense scramble (props to them for getting back every time though), but the coaches and players can learn from this. We won too!

In regards to the half-court offense, I agree that Lin is the best ball-handler. Harden is a bone fide superstar, but we're putting too much pressure on him to create. Our guys stand around while Harden breaks down his defender and draws the foul, which is nice but not something we want to rely on.

When Lin and Harden are on the floor, Lin absolutely should be the primary ball-handler. He's not a strong cutter nor a strong spot-up shooter. Harden is both of those, which makes him an ideal off-ball player. While Lin works and gets the best shot for the team, Harden can conserve his energy for the 4th (a la the Minnesota game) and on the defensive end.

If you think Lin outplayed Greivis Vasquez, you weren't watching the game.

    Lin:
    9 points, 3-10 from the field, 1-4 from three-point range, 7 assists, 2 turnovers

    Vasquez:
    15 points, 6-15 from the field, 2-3 from three-point range, 14 assists, 2 turnovers

TD shot well tonight in 13 minutes. 3-4 from the field, 2-2 from the line, 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist.

Had the Hornets started a quicker/faster PG than Greivis Vasquez, I have a feeling TD would have played more.
