I want him to show consistent rebounding off the bench before he's allowed to start again

Stop taking the bait. Jeremy doesn't need defending.

These 2 guys did a nice job stopping our penetration and slowing us down a little, but in the end we still scored 100+

Simply players can jacking up bad shots(= long-2 jumpers) to get a average TOV%.

    TOV% = 100 * TO / ( FGA + 0.44 * FTA + TO )

Apparently I am. I got you so angry that you had to mash the report button like a teenage girl. Also, no way I could be your son. No woman would ever touch you

Well turnover % calculates per 100 plays so usage doesn't come into play. Rondo's usage is right about even with Lin's this season.

I think at least this season he's getting turnovers while trying to make plays, last season he had a lot of getting his pocket picked/pressure defense type TOs and I'm not seeing that too much this season.

Nor does he do any defending. Maybe instead of an NBA player he can become a matador

I have to disagree with you.. The guy is averaging a double double.. Young player still up and down with his offense but I don't think its because of a lack of hustle. He has to develop offensively but tonight was a good sign of hopefully things to come..

I just got back from the game. The funniest moment was when Austin Rivers was at the free throw line and the Red Rowdies were chanting "overrated".

    It's been a funny exchange.

A guy posts about a kid wearing a Jeremy Lin jersey and excited at the Rockets game ... King1 thinks the poster is Theodore Bagwell from PrisonBreak

And goes on to post uninformed crap about the Lin-Vasquez matchup.

Offered medicine, he wants to lend a shoulder and tell posters to play with their Jeremy Lin bobblehead.

Then admits he's just trolling and actually thinks people have their feelings hurt by his posts which are a joke

    Hmm ....

That's how you take attention away from a very good game by Jeremy Lin, and stir up more LOH vs LOF exchanges by trolling. Good job.

But the problem is ... you're late to the game. Most of the people on clutchfans have come around to the player Lin is and how he is at least an average starting PG being paid an average starting PG salary with the upside of being much more when his 3pt shot starts to drop. And that he plays above average defense, plays well with Harden (best backcourt in NBA), and the coaches were using him wrong before but now better.

20 games ago, King1 you may have earned yourself some friends and/or reps for posting your crap. But now you've just got an army of 3 to 4 posters with you who still haven't seen the light. And perhaps a couple more will come from the Knicks board over time trolling here given how Felton has sucked and how Knicks are playing like the Knicks again.

But you will be lonely on this board.

Lol, the images are hilarious. Damn, the Rox won and people still find a way to bash Lin.

Lin clearly had a poor night shooting again, not just his jump shots but his drives and layup attempts. He was trying to be too cute in my assessment, he needs to use the backboard more, and not just float it up there.

Btw it's clear what mchale's strategy is. Lin is coming out of the gate in the first quarter asking Lin to play D and facilitate only. When he comes back in the second quarter while harden sits, he is asked to look for his shot more and asks TD to play primary PG. this scheme repeats itself in the second half. That is why his scoring is down a bit again in recent games... He doesn't even put up a shot until the second quarter practically! I think at this point if he averages 15 pts a game from here on out I think we'll take that, if he can also up his assists to about 7-8 a game. We know what harden can do. This formula means winning our share of games and a probable 6th seed in the playoffs.

Can you all please stop acting like children? Jesus, pages upon pages of arguing. If you see a troll or stupid post, don't reply. If you see a criticism of a player you like, post a rational rebuttal rather than attacking the poster.

Yeah, he has to realize rebounding is what's going to earn him back the starting spot. I'm rooting for him though.
