By playoff time, the best record will belong to Miami and 7 west teams. Then any team out of west would be bothered by serious fatigue, injury problems before they square off with heat in the finals.

    This.

The west is so stacked that every night is basically a war.

Meanwhile, Miami gets to play the Wizards and Charlotte 4 times each because the Heat are in the weakest division in the weakest conference in the league.

Come on now. The comparison is like apples versus really crappy oranges who are bad at basketball.

James and Wade played a combined 87 minutes tonight in an overtime win against the Mavericks.

The officials neglected to call a foul on either player.

I really hate this league sometimes.

i was just about to mention this. no way you can be considered top tier defenders in their positions and not foul for entire game, let alone an OVERTIME length game. on top of that, they are both aggressive offensive players who like to attack the rim. hard to believe that they don't commit at least one offensive foul as well.

LeBron doesn't foul much. He moves his feet and stays in front of his defender. He takes pride in not committing fouls. Can you show some footage from this overtime game you are talking about and show me where a foul should have been called on LeBron? Are there any specific instances you are talking about or did you even watch the game? I'm going with the latter.

So far the Heat have been playing like crap and still have the best record in the East

So RealGM-esque with this. Do you seriously believe the statistic would be any less of a blow to the credibility of the league if I were to even bother accommodating your ridiculous claims and demands on my time? Do you think I am the one who defines what is and is not suspicious, like I even have that sort of power, or do you at least recognize that it's suspicious and shameful regardless of what either of us posts?

No? Yeah I didn't think so. lol

The East is crap, though. They are lords sitting atop a pile of dung.

OKC Vs Miami in Finals rematch. The outcome could be different though.

The West is 112-74 (.602) against the East in inter-conference play.
That's basically a 50 - 32 team if the West played the East.

I still believe in playoff Boston being interesting and the Knicks have enough veterans that if completely healthy both these teams can annoy the Heat.

The Pacers play great D but don't really have offense.

The Nets are very interesting. I think they have potential to be better.

But yeah, the Nuggets who are 7th in the West right now would be the 2nd best team in the East IMO.

And wade hasn't been 100% in years, and likely never will be for the rest of his career.

You do know that they were a crazy D_Wade apparence from being down 3-1 to Indiana last year.

And a Injury in Game 6 to a Celtics player, (Slips my mind right now) drom being 4-2 By Boston....

And who knows what would have happened if the refs blew the whistle on LeBron in Game 2 when he fouled KD in the Clutch, or if Harden actually showed up....

They were beatable last year... and they are this year too.

Of course the Heat are the favorite. They are the defending champs and they added more pieces with the likes of Ray Allen.

Lebron is having a great season. This is a wing guy who's shooting .544 from the field and pulling down 8 rebounds a game, not mentioning having career lows in turnovers. This guy is by far the best player on the planet.

However there is no such thing as a "lock".

The idea that LeBron James is a wing player is a fiction, as wing players (get this) generally play on the wings and can and do shoot the basketball at range with frequency. LeBron James does none of those things. Unless your name is DeMarcus Cousins, it's not hard to shoot 54% from the field when a whopping 45% of your field goal attempts are right at the basket.

These are all on drives and cuts to the basket--the kinds of shots made easier since James is never called for push-offs or rabbit punches with his off-arm while driving, nor is he whistled for the charges he quite frequently commits. When I say never, I mean that in the figurative but pretty much almost literal sense: Never. It just doesn't happen. This season, we have seen 6...7...8 game stretches where LeBron James is not whistled for a single foul, on either side of the floor. Not one. It's gotten to be insulting to the intelligence of your average NBA fan.

I mean look at that shot chart. At this stage in his career, LeBron James is basically a power forward, and his shot selections reflect that new identity.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer my "superstars" to actually have good footwork, a post game, and to be able to shoot a jumper. You know, skill. This bullying past everybody to get to the paint because special rules apply to you stuff is inartful and more than a little fraudulent. Call me jaded, but I guess it just takes more to impress me than punching the **** out of your defender with a closed fist to the solar plexis and then dunking a basketball to the cheers of people in white T-shirts who just started watching basketball 8 months ago. But that's just me. *shrug*

the heat are head and sholulders above the competition. the only teams that have a chance to beat them are the lakers and knicks.

if lakers figure it out dwight can abuse their frontcourt. knicks with their defense and melo/amare mesh or trade amare.

maybe the spurs gotta shot with duncan close to his 20/10/2 years.
