    Vasquez had 14 assist. So the same excuse u make for Lin you can say for Vasquez...

    why are you trying so hard to put the guy down?

    so far, from what I have read, everyone is saying that lin has a bad shooting night but he made up for it by hustling more and playing more defense... what is so wrong with that?

    Lin got owned/schooled. He should be benched. Worst player on the team. Get him out of the league.GOD I HATE TO SEE HIM. TD is such a legit player compare to him.

    Yes Harden did also have 7 assists, but that in no way diminishes Lin's 7 assists. Lin also didn't guard Greivis on every single possession, some of this threes came when Douglas was guarding him and went under the pick.

    Harden basically plays as a PG for this team anyway with a higher overall usage rate. If Lin had the same usage as high usage PG's like Jrue Holiday or Raymond Felton he'd average double digit dimes easy.

    Point guard has many jobs besides scoring. Making assist is one of those jobs which leads to scoring. So if the point guard is still making assist with limited turnovers than he is not being shut down...

    On the contrary, Lin playing elite defense gives Harden the green light to shoot the lights out as Harden doesn't play good defense. See the Douglas/Harden combo. They can both shoot but that combo is a defensive coach's nightmare.

    I think anyone who watched the game saw the D Jeremy played.
    However, there will be some who just look at stats and then imagine what happened in their own heads.
    A lot of sports writers on Bleacher Report do that.
