    Game was only close because the Rockets were not hitting their usual 3's. Should of been a blow out if they made a couple of more of those.

    Not Rocket's best game, but a win is a win. Great to see Rockets playing good team ball. Lin is great at finding the open guy. There were couple of easy baskets that were missed but he made those incredible passes. Harden is also sharing which is a great sign. Patterson had a great game but he should thank the guards (Lin and Harden) for setting him up time and time again.

    Good team win overall.

    From the USA Today article:

    In the month of December:
    With Lin and Harden on the court together, the Rockets averaged 106.8 points per 100 possessions, allowed 101.1 points per 100 possessions and Harden was a plus-54. With Lin on the bench and Harden on the court, Houston averaged 108.4 points per 100 possessions and allowed 110.2 points per 100 possessions and Harden was a minus-1.

    Lin definitely impacts team defense, he's really underrated in that aspect.

    He also couldn't buy a foul. He got whacked hard enough on a no call he had to leave the game briefly. And the last 3 pointer was a last ditch crunch pass with less than 1s on the clock.

    Without his defense on Vasquez, it would have been a different game. Soon as Lin sat, Vasquez started scoring.
