This is what people overlook. If his family has the money, they can buy their son whatever they want to.

His parents are VERY well off. They're both public school teachers and make THOUSANDS of dollars a year.

Bro, nobody cares, if it was an issue we would have heard something about it by now. Go review a product on Amazon or something.

All of this is ignoring that it's fairly apparent Manziel comes from money. For example, check out this New York Times article about his family. They lived on a golf course before moving to Tyler, Texas, and the article is filled with tales of Manziel's father's golf outings. The elder Manziel carrot-dangled the Texas A&M quarterback with cars in an effort to keep him on the right path. The Manziel family business is oil and gas, and this bears the family name. There's quite a few signs that point towards a family with plenty of disposable income.

This also does not take into account his uncle's clothing businesses which did a couple of million in sales last year.

TAMU compliance already did their search or investigation or whatever you want to call it. Nothing found, no violations. Carry on (& BTHO Oklahoma). :)

Hoping the Ags and JFF don't come out flat tonight. Hopefully JFF doesn't have his head in the clouds after hanging out with Megan Fox, Lebron, and the Jonas Brothers for the past month.

This is a big game and it would be really nice to win a bowl game over a decent opponent for a change.

Please own the Sooners. I have no Big 12 homerism, so please squash them, and squash them hard.

I'm interested to see how I react. I have no real hate for either team anymore. I want to root for a Texas school, but I do love me some Big 12. My wife rooting for A&M might sway me towards that way just cause it turns her on when I root for them.

I know how annoying this must be getting for you guys, and maybe I'm just bitter towards the system, but I really don't see how this game matters. I just see it as entertainment. Win or lose, it's all the same. OU shouldn't even be in this game, our best players are leaving, to think this game will impact recruiting in any significant way seems foolish. Winning a bowl game over a decent opponent, really nice? Sure. It would be really nice. But if we lose tonight I wont be losing any sleep because win or lose none of us will remember this game by March.

If that's true, then maybe you should consider getting a TAMU logo tattooed on your wang? I bet the sexy time would be epic ;)

I agree with you on the whole, and while I usually don't give a damn about the the rest of the nation thinks about us, this game to me signifies something more. You have to admit that it would be a wonderful cap to an amazing season in Aggieland.....a season that even the MOST optimistic people didn't see coming. Beating that gomer-faced Stoops on national TV would be the icing on a very, very good cake for me. So while you're right in that the game has absolutely no ramifications, it's going to be an awesome start to a big-time sports weekend if the Ags can pull this off.

It would be a great win, no doubt. But a loss would mean nothing, that's what's crazy. Now a playoff game vs OU, holy crap man, I'd eat my phone.

I agree with you on the whole and that is why I hate College Football this time of year, but I think a win is good for the team's confidence overall, and while I know you disagree, I think it helps keep some recruiting momentum going. Since the players see it is a "Big Game," I think the experience if they could win would be a big help in the future for these players should we actually make it to a playoff game.

Sounds like Aggie fans are accepting defeat earlier than usual.

    OK first half I guess.

    6 dumb penalties.

Defense bending but not breaking(I guess you could say). Not great.

Johnny gonna Johnny. Had 1 INT.
