They're just trying to be dramatic. I guarantee they all watch. They might say they didn't though, and if we win they'll be the first to say "Fool's gold, we're going to get stomped next week." Struggling really seems to bring out the worst of bandwagon fans.
yep, just like all of them who were done with the team when JJ Watt was drafted. they'll continue watching.
since schaub, in your own books is "chicken s***", didn't you already know what was going to happen before the preseason even got underway? so why are you sighing and be seeing sad for? I wouldn't have invested so much time in this team if i had books that told me the future!
if they win? i thought you already know what's going to happen. why don't you put $500 on the Bengals game? show us how much you know.
it's been my position (FOR YEARS) that kubiak is a terrible head coach and his ineptitude compounded by shaub's inabilty to improvise would be our downfall. i will watch, i will root, and i'll be devastated if we lose. i really want to be wrong about this, but if we do lose and kubes ain't fired, i'm done with the texans.
The Texans can't beat a team with nothing to play for to secure home field advantage is what's sad. That was their first playoff game of the year and they lost. I'm actually hoping they lose to the Bengals so we don't have to watch the thrashing we will receive from either Denver or NE.
i didn't think you were but i've been attacked for my kubiak hate ad infinitum. where are those guys now? that was more the point of my post, just used your's as a jumping off point.
This isn't good, for the last 2 weeks we've been hearing how the mood is good in the locker room, everyone knows what is at stake, everyone is working had etc. And all that resulted in 2 losses. It's like the team just thinks that it can turn it on and start to play better on a whim.

I didn't like how they benched Mercilus for Reed even though he has more sacks than Barwin and Reed combined.(I know sacks aren't the end all be all but he's the only guy that got pressure not named Antonio Smith or JJ Watt.)
Mercilus still gets in there for passing downs, but he's been a liability against the run. They need Reed out there on first and second down.
I'm definitely gonna watch. I've never been a bandwagon fan and I sure as hell won't start now. It's just I'm going into this game with 0 confidence so if they lose its whatever, if they barely scrape by to win then its whatever. However, if they win convincingly and get their mojo back then I will be a lot more confident going into New England.
Texans are a better team than the Bengals. Texans have more talent than the Patriots. It takes a guy, a head coach, to put that talent together on the field and make them execute. We'll see this weekend wether or not Kubiak can right this ship. Texans 31 - Bengals 17. Hoping we get some makeup calls for the NFL making sure Pagano won on his game back.
Given how many opportunities they've had to 'turn it around' especially when they say they would makes me pessimistic. However, I'll still watch and root for them to pull a miracle win like a made-for-TV movie. If there are fans who watched this team in the Capers era, then another playoff appearance should make them proud. No sense in dwelling on what could've been with #1 seed.
