    Good point, Roxxy. :)

Totally agree -- upcoming summer should be about shooting and dribbling. That is what I would focus on if I were him.

very similar to tony parker's game, but the body is kidd like

got to realize he was busy with the contract and getting his knee healthy.
obviously, he needs to work on the shot. he should stick to mid range jumpers and corner 3s

Rockets could be a star PF and Lin's 3pt shooting away from being a contender, and I am sure these will come during the summer.

He is very much like a young Jason Kidd or young Rondo. He can rebound and defend and has very good hand strength to rip balls. He has excellent court vision and can finish at the basket a lot better than he can shoot the three. Actually he finishes better than JKidd did. Remember they use to call Jkidd Ason because he had no J. Well he sure developed one. I love how everyone disses him even on a rocket board like clutch fans. To compare him to Jeff Teague actually shows you know VERY LITTLE about basketball. You're a joke. No matter, you guys keep bashing your own player. You fail to see he is well ahead of the curve that Steve Nash was on. Go check out his first four years stats or rajon rondo's and come back with a real objective argument if you can. All I know he's playing a helluva lot better than DWill this year.

this is one of the reasons why I want Millsap..

Lin is a skill away from being a star player himself. Millsap along with two star players will elevate simply because he will get less focused defensive attention from teams

I was actually thinking about this 2 days ago, and couldn't really slot him in as "like someone else". I suppose a young Tony Parker. Did he make some head hurting stupid passes and turnovers while showing flashes of brilliance? Then the shoe fits for me.

His game is interesting to me, and I hope this is just a beginning with growing pains thrown in.

Jason Kidd all the way. Especially on defense, on loose balls, and in unselfishness, team-first basketball. Didn't have the PG reps early in his career (SG at Harvard, benched in GS, etc.) so he has to play catch-up on offense. With his work ethic and intelligence, I wouldn't count him out.

I agree with Jason Kidd for the most part. Big pg, great hands, awesome leading the teamin transition. I think Jeremy is a greta passer, but Jason Kidd is one of the best passers of our generation. Some of that is just instinctual, so I dont see Jeremy being as good a passer, but Jweremy is a better true scorer.

I see flashes of Kidd in him. Flashes of Nash, the way he circles the hoop and finds guys. Flashes of TP with his burst too. I remember early in TPS career he never finished at the hoop. Hed circle around the basket again and again, and would brick layups.

I just hope he develops his other skill (shooting and ball handling soon). He needs to start having it down by the time he gets that one big injury that so many players get--esp these days. So when he loses a step hes not just relying on that burst.

The way Lin gets the ball upcourt is unparalleled. I dont remember any pg in recent memory who could throw full court passes like him. He avgs like 1 full court pass on the mark per game

HE remind me a lot of M Jordan. Such an absolute beast. He needs to start in the ALL STAR game.

Everybody has been very careful to point out that we're comparing play styles, not saying that Lin is on par with Hall of Fame. Learn to read the posts before making this thread about LOF/LOH nonsense.

Lin does not have the first step that Parker and KJ had.

Lin does not shoot as well as Stockton or Nash.

Lin does not have the court vision of Kidd.

He is most like Terrell Brandon and a little like Bobby Sura with a dash of Danny Ainge.
