CD being 35 got me.. I remember (im almost 29, not too old) being the cat meow. My friend had one back in 94-95ish (good year) and he had the "portable" one... We would listen to Bone Thugs E1999 and then play the Sega CD, with the 32x... Add that with DOOM and it was a 5th graders nightmare... I was the only one on my block with this though
SegaChannel! We had that. $12.95 a month for all the games you wanted. It was about 1991 or so. My first born was 2, and he was good at a few of those games.
